It's been a good while since my last cover, feels like it's been forever. This is also my first time revisiting a song I've covered before. The Hyrule Field theme from Ocarina is a long-time favorite of myself and countless others, and though at the time I was satisfied with how my first crack at it turned out I wanted to see if I've really improved. I like to think I have! I've been playing a good deal of Ocarina Randomizer lately too, so I've had this song in my head again.
The big challenge here was mostly just getting back into things, as well as getting back into properly filming. Not having too much time to dedicate to it (if I want to keep my sanity) had me cutting a couple corners. I even had some more glaring mistakes. You might've noticed the odd look of the ocarina clips, that's actually because I unthinkingly didn't move the microphone out of sight before filming, which looked very odd in the background when editing. I figured a simple scale and position change was inoffensive, though definitely noticeable. The recording itself went smoothly, and taking my time with it gave me plenty of room to get every detail how I wanted it.
