The first bit of it is cut at the start as their was some noises from the surroundings I couldn't keep out of the recording

They should have just done the original songs imo.
At least Forest of Hope is canon in this game in spirit.
Might be actually canon. Olimar’s shipwreck tale isn’t 100% canon because he never gets any other Pikmin types aside from the main three, even though he has notes about encountering all the others.
Not to mention the blue Pikmin in the piklopedia show them in the forest navel

Wait, where in the Piklopedia? I’m looking at Blue Pikmin right now and they seem to be attacking Wogpoles in a generic area. No mention or appearance of the Forest Navel from what I’ve seen.

I’m looking at the Voyage Log that mentions Blue Pikmin, and it doesn’t seem they’re on the Forest Navel. I can’t recall any location in the Navel that has a landmark like what’s seen in the log picture. It just looks like a place you would find in this game.

I love this one so much, it's like they made Forest of Hope better.
They definitley didn't make Forest of Hope better, but it is a good remix

love how they put some notes from forest of hope and classic japanese college's bell (to fit with the falling cherry blossom petals I presume) into this
Actually, the building in the distance is a Preschool/kindergarten, it’s big, got a playground, and it’s got cubbies for backpacks and whatever they need to store. You can only see this if you move the camera out of bounds lol
I hate how the Shipwreck tale's songs are all several times better than their main game counterparts.
