Create realistic 3D models with Blender as an armature by watching YouTube videos

  • This was my first attempt at realism using Blender. It has been a very long time since I tried out something like this, using a different software, but since I got back into the groove of 3D art, I have stuck to creating simple stylised forms.
The goal behind my method of learning is to push myself, softly. I give myself a new challenge with every new project. In this case, the goal was to make the character as realistic as possible using Blender.
I am putting together a RUclips series, where I can detail the process well enough for absolute beginners. The series of videos I am currently creating forms the teaser to that series.

I didn't show the process for the hair and textures because of length. I'm trying to keep the videos short. I will show the processes of creating hair and skin textures in later videos when I am very comfortable with the processes so that they can serve as process guidelines for beginners. Thanks for watching and remember to post your comments, like and share.
