- Sometimes we have to step out a try something new! In this video I attempt to carve a face using only a knife, no other tools. Great way to help improve my woodcarving skills. Let me know how you think I did!

I like it when things go wrong since it gives us a chance to see how to recover when it happens to us. Most of us think we have ruiined our carving when a piece chips off or the knife goes beyond the cut we intended.
This is the best instruction “knife only” video I have seen. Thanks for showing it.
Wow, thank you! That is quite the complement!
Found your channel a couple weeks ago. I really enjoy your method of teaching. You make it a relaxing class. The way you explain the cuts make it easier to understand. Thank you, sir!
I'll be carving more now for sure. I started several years ago but quit to pursue other things. I'm ready to hit it full force now!
Awesome
Thanks for sharing your time. Your videos never disappoint.
Really thank u for this tutorial ❤ I love work with knife on the camp, and it's really hard to found tutorials without tons of stuff but only with one knife 😊

Nice job, always interesting seeing different styles of carving!
This is a challenging one for sure with just the knife. Another good process. Was great seeing you at the Hill and Holler carving event this weekend. Thanks for sharing your talents on this medium.
Great video and simple to follow. I would like more stability from the camera as at least a couple of times was very shaky and dizzying. Thanks for you great work!
