The reason why I’ll never be an optic fan is they have all the resources and money and hand pick their rosters every year with almost no limitations and they still lose and come up with so many excuses
Honestly, listen to most of the pros and pundits - this game rewards teamwork and rosters that work together efficiently. I hope huke and shottzy click on mw2, cause I think shottzy’s speed and dynamism, while being one of the reasons he’s so good, is also one of the reasons this optic team has only won one chip…. Scump on the ar will be sick tho
I’m anxious to see how huke performs. Of course he wants to play well and win just like every other team outside of Florida. But damn you have to imagine that he knows optic will probably go for pred the moment Seattle doesn’t do to well maybe after major 2 or 3. Especially if they themselves aren’t playing to well . However this could also give huke an incredible amount of drive to show he’s the one they should keep and want to continue with going into champs. Time will tell though
yeah exactly, i think huke is honestly in a great position. Dude just collected a free bag to put on a team with A tier players, he knows no matter how well he performs this team will drop him so he just might as well have fun with it and play some decent cod. hes in such a position that the man can easily improve his stock so much
I think this change was kinda like a last minute roster change since the pred buyout didn’t work. I’m predicting around major 3 or 4 there will be another change, prob illey being dropped or huke if he doesn’t work out. (Or both) pred maybe coming to optic if Seattle doesn’t place well. And if they drop both huke and illey they will go after a main ar.
I think it's safe to say Seattle has Pred on lock at least til the end of his contract. Unless he starts sabotaging himself forcing them to drop or sell him
bro Huke was good because he used to take adderall before every game and in between matches, after he went to rehab he's just been getting dropped from every team he joins smh
Sticking with Illey is the wrong decision imo. The guy knew his thumb was fucked last season & instead of sitting it out, told the team he could still play. Wouldn’t be able to trust him imo. Don’t think his thumb will ever be right. Dashy needed a stronger coach to keep him in line. Rambo was always too soft by giving him extra time to get to meals etc. it’s obviously on Dashy but if you have a stronger leader, it can work out. It’s silly dropping Dashy imo cos he has the ability to constantly be a T5 player in every game
Let’s go Huke! You never know if these guys click and Illey and Scump adapt like I think they can sky is the limit. Will definitely be interesting to see how it all plays out. OpTic Pred was so close yet so far away. Damn
Optic have ZERO leadership! This has taken way to long to get done. Hecz or whoever is calling the shots has dropped the ball big time! You try for pred and arcitys and get neither?? Terrible! And im an optic fan.
Here is the curve ball I've been waiting for...Illey's hand likely is not healed, and is why he was sniping. He needs to be moved to the AR, but this may be the nail in the coffin. Grab your popcorn, folks.
If illey knows to put the sniper away when it’s not working and he’s getting bodied in a round of SnD - that’s the kind of adjustment that can bring results. Ego snipe = losing SnD
optic only cares about being the fan favorite team thats why finding players is so hard they cant just take good players they want popular good players. hate to say it but huke hasnt been good since getting off the addys, after that whole drama happened huke never was close to how he was before. i dont see this move going well hope im wrong
Lol switching roles isn’t as hard as ppl think. Look at the optic dynasty team. They had 3 ARs on that team ppl forget karma is a AR player lol same with attach. Attach was an SMG player now is a Main AR
No way they didn't tell Huke upfront that they're trying to get Pred. With all the respect Optic has for him and the way they run their org they probably were very clear with their plans.
Bro this whole situation is just a recipe for disaster, it's not even who they wanted the most, it's gotta impact them in a way. Looks like they're swallowing back their vomit.
OpTic should’ve done more preparation during the off season. Now, they’re left with little to no options and could be screwed this year. I hope Huke come through, but like tac said, it’s not a permanent fix to their situation.
Happy to see huke on optic, been a fan of his for a while, but I still think illey is the problem. I mean I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt and see how he reacts/respond to the role switch but I think he’s too inconsistent in 4v4
i understand the huke signing but if you’re going to move scump to the flex he would pair up WAYYYY better with dashy than illey. seth and dashy have played together for 4-5 years at this point and they know each other to a T. also illey has never played that main AR role and his play style doesn’t suit that role. this was definitely a shotzzy move in my eyes.
Why is no one making the connection on Dashy. In MW-2019 he didn’t vibe with the game at all and was never playing “the correct way” so much that he got benched and now in MW2 the exact thing is happening. It crazy maybe Dashy not a infinity ward player
I think a SMG to Dashy makes sense and ultimately Huke is the best available. I think a lot of people, including myself, are underwhelmed given it could have been Hydra in the off-season and the rumours was Pred for now
As long as Huke finds himself again...if he doesn't well years chalked. Here's hoping we actually figure something out in offseason. With the way things have been handled wouldn't be surprised if shotzzy does indeed walk
Hell just change the name back to Dallas empire this ain't even optic anymore, drop dashy because he's playing like everyone else instead of better then everyone else smh
I put some cash on optic winning 2 majors this season. Have high hopes for this lineup, Huke is solid. Wish Pred would've been able to work out, but I'm not mad the the choice of Huke. Id imagine this first major will be tough with such a fresh lineup, but fingers crossed.
Pretty wild they dropped Dashy instead of Illey tbh. Illey costed them most of last year whining about his thumb and now the dude is shooting bodies against their nemesis Florida lol, unless Dashy was crying about having to practice and grind again this seems like a bad move, Huke has been pretty forgettable the last two years. Lets not forget, dude just got dropped for challengers players and somehow stumbles in the deal of a lifetime for himself
My first year of watching competitive call of duty was MW19 and the team I chose to root for was Empire. So XEO getting back together is so awesome to me and I hope they to nuts this year.

So this is the “you ain’t gonna believe this” Scump talked about on the podcast? It’s not that crazy, unless he was taking about that Pred deal that fell through. Huke basically one of the only ones available so not surprising. It’s like being denied by your dream girl and settled for an old ex.
It’s not that hard to dissect. They went all in on Pred and waited til the very last minute until Seattle declined because they knew Huke would rather be a Plan B than play in challengers
I can actually see illey doing well as a main. He has good communication and his system seems to be what OpTic have been building around for the past few years. Dashy is definitely a heavier slayer, but I think if illey can hold lanes and hang back (like a main AR) and Scump is now in the flex role, and is frying with both weapons, as he has been, this could potentially be a good fit. Scump plays faster than illey, which is what you need from a flex, and then allowing your smg duo to fly and slay out. I dunno, I'm not sold on this, but it does seem like it could work. Not saying they're winning Champs because of this or anything, but I think Huke's passion and willingness to play will be better than Dashy's has been as of late. Good luck to Dashy in the future though! Man is a beast!
Hahahaha this right here is the biggest amount of copium I've ever witnessed. This might be my new copy pasta. Illey good as a main AR? Even though he's a flex his whole career and plays almost at the same pace as a sub? Yeah no lol. Tell me with a straight face he'll be able to compete or be better than let's say Octane or Arcitys at their roles. Just no. Huke has been dropped from multiple orgs and knows he was 2nd choice after Pred. Its over.

They have no pipeline into picking up top challengers talent because they believe they're to good to do so. And didn't even have a solid vet signed as a sub who would've already known the system. As I said management has done a piss poor job of running this team.
@@arc7xangel897 for scump's final year, i doubt they'll try to pick someone up who has yet to prove themselves among the pros. You're only looking at it through one perspective. Plus this is the move in terms of team chem. But on the sub end of things, i agree with you.
@@arc7xangel897 Thank you these fans gassing this like this isn’t gonna change the problems with this org. They’re gonna get smoked this year && come up with excuses/ scapegoats like always
@@Spryze I'm looking at and evaluating a business, from the perspective of someone who is a business owner myself. You do not make business moves with no actual plan and your fingers crossed. They had a chance to form a solid team in the off season and failed to pull the trigger. As the largest brand in COD and possibly eSports they should be the primary ones poaching your up and comers and farming the next stars. And they have failed to do that as well. This is just a harsh reminder of the reality that comes with they're lack of proper management.
Never thought Rambo was a good fit as a coach
The reason why I’ll never be an optic fan is they have all the resources and money and hand pick their rosters every year with almost no limitations and they still lose and come up with so many excuses
I knew you'd have a video already up. Respect. 🤝
Honestly, listen to most of the pros and pundits - this game rewards teamwork and rosters that work together efficiently. Huke may not be putting up the numbers Dashy has this last couple of seasons, but I'd wager he will have loads of more chemistry and teamwork with iLLeY and Shotzzy. I think this could be an improvement for the short term and if it doesn't pan out, grab Pred when his contract is up at the end of the season. It's the most practical approach.
Finally someone with some common sense 😂
Dashy should have stayed, Illey should have gone. Dashy has been loved for years & has the slaying potential Illey doesnt have. It is truly unfortunate that the Pred deal couldn’t be secured as well.
Can’t believe we got OpTic Huke before we got the crim6 Huke RUclips video.
Nothing like being the second or third choice. Another mid to bottom finish to optic coming right up.
Edit- if a company brought me in for a job, and I knew I wasn’t the first choice , I’d decline it. But, to each their own.
Sure Kyle
you'd decline a paycheck over some petty ego? lol
Nobody is talking about this tho 😂 3rd choice and think they are gonna win it all
@@magnumdongsen2141 “we wanted someone else, not you, but,.. I guess we’ll take you” you’re good with that? Ok.
it’s not ego. It’s personality. If you want seconds, cool. Live your life that way. Me,… and many others are different. Cheers.
@@harmzyz0682 already done it. And it payed off. Look, do you.
I’ll do me. Cheers.
Last time OpTic did a back up plan idea was the WW2 season w Zinni and octane :/
I hope huke and shottzy click on mw2, cause I think shottzy’s speed and dynamism, while being one of the reasons he’s so good, is also one of the reasons this optic team has only won one chip…. Scump on the ar will be sick tho
Def not the “one” reason, Scump and dashy were the best on their team on that one win
@@BopUkid try reading my comment again lmao, I never said it was “the one” reason, I said it was one of the reasons.
so Optic think Illey is a better main AR than Dashy. Not sure about that one.
Unless he starts sabotaging himself forcing them to drop or sell him
Huke back with Hastro could very well be what Huke has needed. He was Hastros son for years
For Hukes sake he better perform well because the amount of hate he will get if he doesn't will probably be overwhelming. High risk high reward here.
bro Huke was good because he used to take adderall before every game and in between matches, after he went to rehab he's just been getting dropped from every team he joins smh
I hope huke turns up, I’d love to see him get back to his superstar form.
That’s facts!!!! He was a monster on advanced warfare
@@Hc4697 he was. And he just seems to have such a good and positive soul and I feel like he deserves to do well again
@@Hc4697 he was a god that faze team was something else the only team they struggled against was the optic dynasty
XEO has the chemistry needed to be successful. I think we are about to witness something epic.
You and scump are the only reason I'm still watching and paying attention to competitive cod. Keep it up the cod community appreciates you
Let’s go Huke! You never know if these guys click and Illey and Scump adapt like I think they can sky is the limit. Will definitely be interesting to see how it all plays out. OpTic Pred was so close yet so far away. Damn
That roster picture with scump and shotzzy smiling but Huke and Illey looking like they know they're 2nd choice
Optic have ZERO leadership! This has taken way to long to get done. Hecz or whoever is calling the shots has dropped the ball big time! You try for pred and arcitys and get neither?? Terrible! And im an optic fan.
You forget to mention that, huke was on addy when he won with dallas. Since then He has had one good performance.
Dashy has nobody to blame but himself.
And scump for wanting to "run it back" dashy would be in a better situation if this was the offseason. Could find himself a team
If optic curse is real then Dashy wins champs with the next squad.. guess we’ll see if it’s true
Here is the curve ball I've been waiting for...Illey's hand likely is not healed, and is why he was sniping. He needs to be moved to the AR, but this may be the nail in the coffin. Grab your popcorn, folks.
I wonder what this does to seattle surge’s mindset. Pred was ready to leave for optic and I wonder if there will be any tension between the team.
honestly cant believe we waited weeks for this fucking announcement lmao
I like Huke but I don't know if this will really help this team. We'll see what happens and how they play.
I genuinely think we get a rejuvenated Huke now he’s back with xeo and then we probably get Pred in the off-season hopefully Sib too eventually
I never wanted Bruce gone. Dropping him after 1 event was to soon. I don’t know if this is going to work honestly especially with no true main ar
Lol switching roles isn’t as hard as ppl think. Look at the optic dynasty team. They had 3 ARs on that team ppl forget karma is a AR player lol same with attach. Attach was an SMG player now is a Main AR
They hardly dropped him after 1 event dashys been on optic for ages dude. And they clearly had issues before
No way they didn't tell Huke upfront that they're trying to get Pred. With all the respect Optic has for him and the way they run their org they probably were very clear with their plans.
Bro this whole situation is just a recipe for disaster, it's not even who they wanted the most, it's gotta impact them in a way.
Looks like they're swallowing back their vomit.
This is almost like when optic picked up methods when he was the third option and it just didn’t work
OpTic should’ve done more preparation during the off season.
The crimsix/scump comparisons are about to get real deep
Why is no one making the connection on Dashy. In MW-2019 he didn’t vibe with the game at all and was never playing “the correct way” so much that he got benched and now in MW2 the exact thing is happening. It crazy maybe Dashy not a infinity ward player
Dropping Dashy and keeping illey lmaooooooooooooooo, Orgs quite literally chalkeddddddd, whos making these braindead decisions
when one book closet, another book opens , love the video tactical rab
These 3 won the world champs back in MW 2019. Huke is a great player under the right system.
They had the goats Crim and Clay on the team tho.
The team doesn't have a main AR lol
@React- don't really need an anchor in this game with these crazy ass spawns tho so this could be interesting, we shall see.
@@react-- I'll take dumbest shit I've read for 200 bob.
I haven’t heard Rab sound so energetic at the beginning of a video like this roster debacle lol
Hope it works out and Cuyler fits well. Just glad it’s over for now. Thanks, Rab!
I think a SMG to Dashy makes sense and ultimately Huke is the best available. I think a lot of people, including myself, are underwhelmed given it could have been Hydra in the off-season and the rumours was Pred for now
Best available lol. Way to try to turn a shit storm into a positive.
@@96kylar Imo he's the best available from a SMG stand point. Not saying he's great or going to be a success, just being realistic
Pine Park Papa Hecz probably put a clause in huke's contract that he is only allowed to play in majors under the influence of aderall.
As long as Huke finds himself again...if he doesn't well years chalked. Here's hoping we actually figure something out in offseason. With the way things have been handled wouldn't be surprised if shotzzy does indeed walk
looking back on your last video, imaging loading up a Tactical Rab video and he’s on Google Maps street view looking at your house
it’s almost surreal seeing OpTic Huke as i’ve been watching comp cod since 2013. 2015 me would’ve been screaming back then
next stage T12-8 is as good as it gets for this team
The new meta does provide a valid reason to have 3 subs. Hydra and Kismet with subs after the m4 ga with Pdog as a flex won them major 1.
Crazy how both Huke and Slasher failed upwards lmao. Hope he makes the most of this though.
Fr, everyone acts like slasher is a god now that he’s on faze
Pretty wild they dropped Dashy instead of Illey tbh. Illey costed them most of last year whining about his thumb and now the dude is shooting bodies against their nemesis Florida lol, unless Dashy was crying about having to practice and grind again this seems like a bad move, Huke has been pretty forgettable the last two years. Lets not forget, dude just got dropped for challengers players and somehow stumbles in the deal of a lifetime for himself
That lineup is gross 🔥 working with his old team should stir up that drive they need , already knows coms
My first year of watching competitive call of duty was MW19 and the team I chose to root for was Empire. So XEO getting back together is so awesome to me and I hope they to nuts this year.
I feel like they could struggle with slaying if scump isnt dropping numbers every game
Why are you worried about scumps he’s been frying all year? Need shottzy to be more effective/ stay alive he’s struggled this year & huke will hopefully be what he needs & illy on main should be nice
@@braedenr836 well illey, huke and shottzy all have negative kd while scump has positive but it was much higher with m4 and if he cant get into that level i cant see them being a top team

@@MrKFD_92 I have multiple times on hardpoint in moshpit it depends how tight nit your team is on trades but in the pro league I understand that but some players just play their life and inflate their stats like cellium for example
So this is the “you ain’t gonna believe this” Scump talked about on the podcast? It’s not that crazy, unless he was taking about that Pred deal that fell through. Huke basically one of the only ones available so not surprising. It’s like being denied by your dream girl and settled for an old ex.
Well this will be interesting for optic
It’s not that hard to dissect. They went all in on Pred and waited til the very last minute until Seattle declined because they knew Huke would rather be a Plan B than play in challengers
Think Pred will join end of season, can’t see huge being a long term option, could see sib coming
I think the pred deal isn’t don’t yet. I think either after major two or end of the season pred will go to optic
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Hahahaha this right here is the biggest amount of copium I've ever witnessed. This might be my new copy pasta. Illey good as a main AR? Even though he's a flex his whole career and plays almost at the same pace as a sub? Yeah no lol. Tell me with a straight face he'll be able to compete or be better than let's say Octane or Arcitys at their roles. Just no. Huke has been dropped from multiple orgs and knows he was 2nd choice after Pred. Its over.
