They're known for their comical behaviour in the wild, sometimes hanging upside down from tree branches and power lines, squawking and flapping their wings and generally making fools of themselves. Hence the Aussie term for an idiot - "silly bloody galah" And they're called pink and gray galahs cos...well, thats the only colors they come in.
