- Finally, the first Sigma lenses for Nikon Z Mount cameras are on sale! The 16mm F1.4 DC DN | C, 30mm F1.4 DC DN | C and 56mm F1.4 DC DN | C offer outstanding image quality, a very fast F1.4 aperture and a portable and robust build. They're crop sensor lenses so are ideal for Nikon's APS-C mirrorless bodies, but they can also be used on full frame bodies in crop mode, as Sam does in this video.
You can find out more about these three lenses at sigmauk.com
I wish Sigma would bring out the 14mm f1.4 in Z mount. Come on Sigma!
Would be great if you actually did a demo on a crop sensor camera to show the size at the very least.
Dear sigma plz make sigma 18-50 f2.8 for the z Mount
Hi, When are the full frame Art lenses coming to Z mount? 24-70 specifically.
Awesome. Are they fully compatible with Nikon's in camera lens corrections?
Great overview and some great London street photography by Sam!
Here is hoping Sigma will release its apsc 23mm f1.4 lens in the Nikon Z mount soon!
Your pictures are amazing!
Are these better than the old ART lenses for DX mount?
i have sigma 30mm 1.4 z mount when i using this lens with nikon z6ii video slow moton function is disable why
@sigmauk por que no hicieron el video usando nikon zfc o nikon z30 ?? No seria mas apropiado ?
Beautiful video. Did u shot the video with a7s3 ? Could you please tell which camera and lens combo u used ?
Hi Shinzy, yep this was the a7s3, and we our film maker mainly uses the 35 F1.4 DG DN, 50 F1.4 DG DN and 85 F1.4 DG DN, with the 50 the most used. They're similar enough in size and weight that a Ronin RS3 or RS2 that the gimbal doesn't need to be rebalanced when changing between them, so it's a really easy way of working, and especially good if tight on time!
R u using it on full frame ?
Does this lense make the picture as crop sensor?
Excellent video, these lenses look great, nice job Sam. 😊
Thanks for watching Simon, top man!
@@sigmauk30mm z mount suitable for videography does it shoot stable footage ?
what body are you using mate? It s blurred on all the frames .Is this intentional? Why are you not providing more details?
One question, which no doubt you won’t be allowed to answer, will the all metal I lenses be available in the Full Frame Z mount sometime soonish?
Hi, thanks for the question! We've not heard any news from Sigma Japan on whether the I series lenses will be released for Z. Fingers crossed - they'd suit the mount well! Cheers, Tim@Sigma UK
I'm really tempted to get the 56mm and will eventually get it but Z8 happened.
The one that would have been a day one purchase for me is the 23mm but sadly no Nikon version. I can still use the Megadap ETZ-21 with the Sony version, but I assume that Sigma'a protocols for the Z-mount are fully licensed.
Are they stabilised?
Hopefully Sigma brings some 23, 35, 50mm equivalent pancake lenses for the Z apsc cameras. F2 is fine. compact pancake on the Zfc for street photography will be awesome.
Yes that would be nice, agreed. If you do get the chance to try these three out though do so, they do feel very nicely balanced on a small mirrorless camera. Thanks for watching!
Ahem.....muffin you would say 🧁
May we see some 1.4 primes from Sigma.
Can I ask which Z camera you used the lenses with.
z5 or z6
@@djefleyflorentino Interesting that they're showcasing ASPC glass on a full-frame body.
Opino lo mismo !

30mm worth for cinematography
hi is it possible to put it on the Nikon z5?
SIGMA Nikon Z Mount lenses are compatible with the Nikon Z5. The lenses are designed for APS-C sized mirrorless systems, so the Nikon Z5 will switch to APS-C Crop mode when using these SIGMA Nikon Z Mount lenses.
@@sigmauk I need it to make videos to have a wider field. Do you think it's good? To use with the Nikon z 5?
