This tutorial is great, I didn't want to switch to blender from Cinema4D But theres just so much more community resources, and the program itself is free and constantly updated, whereas with Cinema4D you have to crack it, its usually outdated, hardly anyone uses it for roblox so theres hardly any tutorials, and after like 5-6 years of making GFX i've hit a brick wall with it. C4D is a great tool for 3D Motion Graphics, my strong suggestion is to switch to Blender if the main purpose is to create other things, you won't regret it.
Little help for others that have it showing way different stuff if you don't see install there like it instant showed for them after going to "Edit" then "Preferences" click the arrow next to the price tag little button and it will pop up.
I see some people having problem with importing their character in blender (character not showing) I suggest updating blender to the latest version ( it worked for me). Thank you
Clearing some things up: Yes, it works at time of writing. If you try importing your avatar 3D model and the textures are messed up, try resetting everything. Everything here is 100% free. This video does not cover R15 avatars. Click accessory, hold shift, click bone, ctrl p, bone, in order to attach accessories to your rig. Look at the comments or search google or YT if you have any more questions.
This is awesome and I would like to know if the rigs are the same size as roblox rigs so people could actually make UGC, weapons or armour etc in Blender that would fit perfectly on a real roblox character and be the right size?
How about telling us what to do? First I had to figure out myself how to get the character into blender, because we dont get png's, we get objects. Then I have to manually move the accessories, because apparently I don't have anything called "bone". I don't even have pose mode. I don't even know how to move the rig, when i select the arm I obviosuly move the entire arm, but when Í try to select the actually bending parts I just select the entire character.
I would love lighting and effects tutorials, also isn’t there only a few guys that make Roblox’s rigs like comix and Matt roblox? Those 3 are all I know lol

@@bloxynflox Oh, how I made the bone shapes? Basically just using meshes such as circles, and then when you select the bone and go to bone properties you can select that mesh and rotate, position and scale. That’s how I made all of the different bone shapes. There’s also a simple addon called bone widget, makes the process wayyyy faster!

For people having this issue, please ensure that you are running the latest version of Blender or a version that is later than version 3.0.0. For myself, I had the same issue, however it was resolved right after updating the software properly.

when u render it it wont be transparent. But you can turn off transparency too but i just forgot how
