That’s a badass Vette !! Gotta respect a guy that has committed to daily-ing a C3, 80 miles a day ……. I hear’75 was a big comfort year for the driver experience lol
I vaguely remember riding in a 75 stingray as a kid , I was so awestruck that I didn’t care what it rode like ! I found later on that the C 4,5&6 are a little rough on the long hauls when your 6’5” 😮
AMC is making a comeback...especially the 4x4 Eagles. I bought a 2 door brand new in 1984 because I had to cross the mtns from Virginia to West Virginia several times a yr.... I had my wife & 1 yr old daughter with me one such trip & we got caught in a blizzard ...the weather said "flurry's" . But thats mtn weather for ya. Very unpredictable. Although to route we took was a snow route , the roads were not plowed . Near the top of the pass we found a mom & pop grocery store open & we stopped . The snow was a foot deep at this point & Those folks were shocked to see a traveler in this blizzard . They invited us to stay til the roads were clear , but as luck would have it , a plow truck stopped by at 2 a.m. and we followed him over the mtn... That Eagle never spun a tire . It probably saved our lives that night ...More than one had been caught by storms over the yrs & not survived ... My daughter is 34 yrs old today . She doesnt remember of course, but she turned a yr old at that mom & pop store . They were a nice old couple & got a big kick outta my daughter & the fact that she turned 1 in their store... She has a stuffed bear still to this day the old folks gave her for her 1st b-day... True story ...
Nice. I have a beautiful 69 convertible. Very original and numbers matching car. I definitely don't daily it. Car shows only! 😁 At least the 1975s don't have the vacuum wiper door stuff like mine. Thanks for the videos! 👍👍
Wow, an Auto-RUclipsr that actually admits to buying something from RockAuto like us normal humans! Well done! Actual budget stuff on this channel. Love it.
I’ve never gotten seasick watchin a youtoo video until you were comparing the two motors. God! Am I old!! And there’s no way I would have ever guessed your daily would be a vette
I also have a 75 Vette, I enjoyed this video even though my wipers are one of the few things on mine that work right. My heater and air conditioner just are gone, as in not there at all, sucks.
Now that's a daily driver. I love the videos of you working on crap ( very entertaining) I've driven my share but im glad to see you with something so nice. 😊
Missouri. It snows like 3 times a year, I just drive my 82 Chevy when it does. You'd be surprised how well a vette does though, they're pretty heavy cars, and lots of weight on the rear tire
C3s seem to always have wiring issues (dang it Bubba)…. I have a 78 and I redid the interior last winter. Put a plastic dash cover on and getting the speedometer/tachometer and center panel to fit was a bugger. Definitely fun to drive.
Beautiful Vett! I have always been fond of the old C3's. By the way I love the variety of content. Every video is something interesting. Keep up the great work.
There's one just a stones throw away from as way the doves fly just rotting away. For years I've tried to get the owner to let me buy it, but no is the steady reply. Beautiful car there my man!
Gotta love GM. The wiper linkage down in the cowl is the same design as on my 66 Corvair. I see several small parts that are the same. Also I love any Vette with the Hooker style side pipes. The e factory units are ugly and sound the same.
Nice! I have a 74 thats the same color. What carb are you running? My quadrajet makes the thing run and sound mean as hell but its a giant pain in the butt when things go wring with it.
Good times. I swapped out the wiper motor in my 94 Chevy Cheyanne at a mud run in the rain. The only time I've ever needed to replace one of those things. I miss that ugly yellow thing. I traded it for a Dodge Avenger. Not a smart move.
Santa gotta really nice sled!! Wait until you have to replace the door handle on the driver's side, lol. I was 4 years old when my dad had to do it on his '70 LT1. I am going to take a guess as to his frustration and say it was waaaaay up there, because I heard a really loud yell, and the old one looked like a missile headed for space 😳, rolmao I looked for it for days with no luck. BUT, when I was 14 by accident, I found it! 😂😅😂😅 So I brought it to him, and said, "hey I found it!!". Well, the car was long gone 10 years, but the look. 😳☠️☠️☠️👁👁 It definitely was not of joy. Then in a calm eerie voice he said, "it took you long enough. Now do us both a favor and put it back." 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Wait WAIT W A I T!!! An apprentice is driving his corvette 80 miles round trip every day? MAN they are paying you too much!!! 😆🤣🤣 All kidding aside, maybe you can help me with something for a sec, I could probably look it is but you may know off the top of your head. I grabbed a 1974 corvette non-booster master cylinder for my project… which reservoir goes where? Front of the master feeds the front wheels or back?
15:56 It's winter ... why aren't running that bug zapper? Long time commenter ... first time watch ... self proclaimed YT expert ... What were we talking about again?
C3 is my favorite body style hands down. If you mean smog era power, I mean, come on, it's a small block Chevy. A monkey and 3 dollars can make power with one
@@PoleBarnGarage oh, not faulting the body style, it looks like a fighter jet! But…your feet feel like you’re trying to work a clutch, brake and gas pedal in the bottom of a 5 gallon bucket. I’m 6’2&1/2 and my size 11’s get all caught up down there. I have a customer with a ‘79.

That's my favorite generation of corvettes.

I'm 6'1 and I wouldn't want to be much taller in a c3 lol
I drive mine 200 a day. 40 miles is nothing

I actually like the older corvettes better. But driving your vette to work every day is a statement in itself. Thumbs up. Good job

I'm on the hunt for a 69-72 4 speed at the moment. C3s are the best!
Mine's "just" a TH400 auto, but it runs great. Probably why it's still alive - no massive clutch dumps! 😁@@PoleBarnGarage

Of course! Just a regular guy
Can’t wait to see that eagle back on the road. One of my favorite amcs. Of course the amx is #1. But the concord is right up there with them
Man that Corvette is SWEET!!! Like you i drive my 92 Z28 just about every day to work.

Ilive gulf coast something I've always wanted to do is a donut in the snow with a front drive car
Wow ! Respect to U , with that beauty! ♥️

Nice car. We have a cold front moving in also. It's going to be below zero for days. Just had about 30 inches of snow. Thanks for the video 👍
Diggin the Corvette content. That's the exact year I'm wanting. My birth year 75. Wanna trade for a c4 with 80,000 miles lol
It's same color
I needed a specific video and didn’t expect you to be my hero, but thank you brother
c3 vettes are under appreciated in my opinion
Nice car sounds great
C3 My favorite body style...she is a nice ride
Beautiful Vett! I have always been fond of the old C3's. By the way I love the variety of content. Every video is something interesting. Keep up the great work.
I wish somebody made stainless steel ts for vacuum lines and wind shield washer lines.
These stingrays are my favorite vette body style just a beautiful car Great video Dalton @Pole Barn Garage
That Vette sounds badass. Good stuff.
Great explanation. Very informative. Keep up the great work and I will keep on watching
Great job dude.
15:57 Idk why, but I still like seeing oil changes even after seeing hundreds of them.
MORE CORVETT !!!
Short but sweet - happy ending when it works as advertised
Beautiful vette
My son and I are putting all new brake lines front to back on his 1994 Corvette merry Christmas to you and your family.
Cool looking Corvette. Is a little weird watching you do something the bolt on easy job way!
Nice sounding car!
nice daily driver
Awesome video nice job, hope to see more of this Vette in the future. 👍
Judging by the views this is getting, you probably won't lol
Nice car pbg
👍Good stuff. No better feeling than a job well done w/ great results. Nice Corvette, looks great! (Overall comfort of the ride was always lacking)
You re-wrapped wiring? Should we have JD check for a pod under your bed?
There's one just a stones throw away from as way the doves fly just rotting away. For years I've tried to get the owner to let me buy it, but no is the steady reply.

Just go and steal it!😂
That's an awfully sweet looking C3 for the owner/builder of the #Holey Goat...
My tastes vary...
Nice car..
One of these Days Dalton I'm going to get a Welder and Come over there and take you through a Crash Course on Home Welding.
I can weld. Not much to weld on a fiberglass car
Great job
Another great video thanks for sharing 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Drove vette to Arizona?? Did I miss that video????
It's listed at the end of this one. November 2021 ish
This video made me miss my `77 Vette!
Great cars
Nice daily driver
Dam that’s a beautiful car dude I wish I was in the USA the cars here in the uk are trash
You can always move!
You know what works best for applying grease in those places is a small modeling paint brush.
Thats sure is a nice daily driver.
Just a beater
I’m glad the vacuum T broke, otherwise you may have made it to the end of the job without destroying something. 😱
What are the black buckets seats out of sitting on the old work bench??
69 Camaro or firebird
I'm looking for a set for my 72 chevelle if you come across some.
Pricey these days. There's a core set around here for 700

Spray some WD-40 on a cloth and clean your wipers blades, it rejuvenates.

you don't need low speed wipers, everyone knows Missourians only use HIGH! =)
It can be a pain in the ass wrenching with 2 hands! And you're holding a f,ing camera!!!!
Those wiper motors are crap. Get a good C4 wiper motor and fit it in there, it's a lot better and you have a delay function.
