While I’m not too fond of how the remaster came out, I’m so incredibly happy to know more people are learning about Peggy’s Devon Hendryx discography and THE GHOST~POP TAPE specifically. It’s in my top 5 favorite albums of all time and helped me through some extremely rough times
@@Definitionofill92 there’s not a whole lot of differences between the two aside from pitching up the songs on the remaster and a few instruments are clearer but I do highly recommend checking the OG out. I think the rough and less clear vocals on the original really create such a cathartic sound. Also Dreamcast Summer Songs is another masterpiece 🙏
2:07 Ballad of A Poor Man 5:01 ❤ 6:04 HBK 8:04 Violent Fighting To Come Again! 8:28 Behold! really good reaction. at the end of untitled^3 that gunshot / bass drop was his way of taking his own life cuz he just felt worthless. its real eerie the more i think about it cuz he was getting 50 views per drop as devon hendryx, and nobody paid attention to him at all. this really couldve been his last tape ever, and none of us would have ever knew. but im glad u liked it. he was in his feelings at the time throughout all of it, thats why this tape is so atmospheric. and yea id love for you to check out dreamcast summer songs if u want more production-based work from him, those are some of his oldest beats to date (2007-2009) and its really solid.
Sheeesh! That’s insane, I’m glad he didn’t give up. He’s become one of my favorite artists. I’m definitely doing Dreamcast next, I’m excited for that one
Amazing reaction love how you didn’t pause it every 5 seconds like others, also the sample for untitled 3 is a character from the anime “ghost stories” getting mad at a computer
the remaster was pretty good but i love the OG version, TGPT helped me through some tough times, definitely an album i can listen to when i’m depressed or just in a good mood.
i love how much you love Behold! A Pale Horse, definitely top 3 peggy songs for me, the ghost pop tape helped me with so much and im happy a whole new group of fans are discovering it now
Reading about what a dark place he was in while making this is haunting. He said he was close to death when making this, which I assume to mean he really was struggling with suicidal ideation. I’m glad he moved past it all and went on to have the great career he has now. Also don’t wanna pry too much but I think HBK might be about abuse.
I definitely think you should give the Rockwood escape plan a listen it's a bit on the long side but it's actually one of my favourite Peggy albums just bewere cause it gets a little crazy at points
I don't know if anyone has already said this, but I think understanding the background of the place mentally he was when he made that album, is really important. I remember researching devon hendryx after listening to peggy because I wanted to listen to TGPT, and I think because of that it really opened up my mind on each and every song, which is probably why this is my favorite album of all time and helped me thru some stuff. Real AF for reacting to this album though. Much Love ❤
The best description of this album to me came from a RUclipsr (I forgot who) that said “it’s like listening into a personal diary or something in not supposed to listen too”
finally ur the first to react to the remaster, lit songs that are worth checking out in terms of the differences between original/remaster: HBK, Bubblegum Crisis, and Neon Kitchen wasn't on the remaster Thank u for taking the time to react to my and many others' favorite album!
if you are going to react to another devon hendryx project, i’d heavily recommend joechillworld or dreamcast summer songs if you want to react to more of his instrumentals
Bru u gotta react to the og album it got too many sounds idk why peggy took it off when he released the remaster The og way better its almost like a whole another album

The evolution of peggy is tremendous, and he is such a hardworker, passionate, genuine and down to anything that breaks the rules of music.
He truly loves music and it shows
Hearing Sakura for the first time changed my life

Nice Easter egg! Love it
the remaster was pretty good but i love the OG version, TGPT helped me through some tough times, definitely an album i can listen to when i’m depressed or just in a good mood.
Agreed! The OG is definitely better after checking it out, it’s such a great record
i love how much you love Behold! A Pale Horse, definitely top 3 peggy songs for me, the ghost pop tape helped me with so much and im happy a whole new group of fans are discovering it now
The fact that he’s been dropping quality projects from the start of his career just amazes me. One of the Greatest’s!
top 1 peggy songs

This is wild! This honestly make the tape so much more layered and legendary

Thank you so much for watching! And I agree, TGPT(original) has become one of my favorite Peggy projects, the artistry behind it still blows my mind

Speaking of soundscapes, 454's project Fast Trax 3 deserves reacts.
I’ve seen people go crazy for 454! I do have Fast Trax 3, saved on SoundCloud, I need to stop sleeping
@@Definitionofill92 looking forward to it! Join the club.
The best description of this album to me came from a RUclipsr (I forgot who) that said “it’s like listening into a personal diary or something in not supposed to listen too”
That’s probably the best description

he also to make music, he use to loop hip hop beats over and over to replicate and know every single detail for a song
Def check out the original too. Some of the extras are my favorite Peggy songs OAT
Will do! I also want to hear how he originally intended it to be
if you are going to react to another devon hendryx project, i’d heavily recommend joechillworld or dreamcast summer songs if you want to react to more of his instrumentals
Dreamcast uploaded! Joechillworld next!
4:07 😂 me listening to this album
listening to this album for the first time must’ve been how cavemen felt after discovering fire
