We traveled to the Old Town of Chania, on the island of Crete in Greece, and when I started searching for places to stay, I found it would be pretty awesome to stay at an old styles Cretan Venetian house in old town. So I booked a place for a couple nights. It was in a perfect location, just a stone's throw from the Venetian Harbor in Chania, and right in the heart of Old Town. In this video I’m going to give you a full tour of the Cretan Venetian style house we stayed in!

Jennifer Cadlaon i totally agree! I battle a chronic pain disease and it affects my mood a lot and I find myself feeling really down amd thinking negatively because of the pain and then I start watching his videos and suddenly I find myself smiling amd feeling happy too because he is so happy amd he is always out enjoying life. I wish my body would allow me all those privileges he has but at least I can live vicariously through him this way.
Mark I have to say I love that you show us where you stay at each location. It's so nice to see how the locals live. The surroundings are amazing. How wonderful. Lovely house, lots of character. Very similar to the houses in Gibraltar where I was born. We have white brick walls. And the rooms are very spacious, we have balconies too. Thank-you for bringing us alone Mark. Have a great day you and your family.

Cheap for three nights in what is assumed a 4 floor place to stay. Your more out than in when doing a food vlog so good on your research skills. I remember some places costing twice that and only one floor so great job Mark.

there are a lot of affordable apartments in greece :) many will sleep a family for under 100$ nice tour nontheless.

Up until I saw your recent videos, I never thought I'd ever consider visiting Crete. I love the feel of travelling back in time, it's cultural charm and the beautiful skies and that ocean I just want to jump into. This wonderful cozy house you all stayed at and the price makes it even more irresistible. Btw, lol at the charming toilet with a view!

Hello from Cretee..!!My island..😉 I live in the biggest city,Heraklion..Be sure to go to "koukouvagia"(owl) if you rent a car sometime..It's a little difficult to go,cause the roads are a little tricky but trust me,the view will reward you..Everybody has to go to that store when in Chania..!Ask a trustful local for directions..Oohh and make sure you eat "kalitsounia"salty with spinach or salty cheese and sweet with traditional sweet cheese from Crete..!Also defenitely try "sfakiani pita"(a sweet somekind pie salty or sweet from "Sfakia"town,Chania)They cook it in almost every food store in Chania..That's all..!Sorry for the long comment but when i saw your video that you guys are in Crete,i had to comment 😉 Have a great time and be careful when and if you drive(sadly we have lots of accidents😞)...

The age and thickness of the building really amazed me. We only have 20 cm thickness of wall in our country and old building is so rare here

Did a few years ago, a 3 week Oceania cruise of Greek Mediterranean -- a very beautiful trip, And believe next trip would like to begin in Crete! Has an international airport and just amazing history and as can be seem from this video, fabulous old world charm.

Really cool house, and not a bad price for such antique ambiance and neat features. I used to work in a (four star) hotel where the cheapest rooms were $125.00 per night. They were ok, but nothing as pretty as this Greek house!
*Mark I've never seen you so happy is when your on the craper, oh I have that same problem in my down stairs bathroom with the stairs above the commode lol, mega thumbs up guys!*

remind me of living space my place is cozy and small built for 1 however i have had more than 5 people in my place at one time that's how small it is Great Video Mark try getting around to do a 3 day cruise or even more if you can or ask the cruise ships/companies to sponsor you.............:)

Air comes in the lower level windows, rises as it heats due to convection, and exits out the top of the house. Natural air conditioning, moving air and evaporating moisture.
This is realy FANTASTIC ND COMPACT HOUSE.ROOF TERRACE IS MIND BLOWING.OH YES I TELL U I HAVE ALSO A AC IN MY KITCHEN.OVERALL GREAT TOUR.MORE ND MORE THUMBS UP.
