oh, the Albino Pleco fish is fasinating, i've never seen such a beautiful fish before, Pleco fishes i contacted with in the past are all black, but i previously hunted a Banded Catfish(Tachysurus Fulvidraco) in a wild reservoir with a koral net that is similar to the Albino Pleco fish, Banded Catfish has gold and black patterns and three hard fins-two pectoral fins and a dorsal fin

It's intriguing to hear about your experience encountering the Albino Pleco fish and comparing it to the Banded Catfish you found in a wild reservoir! Albino Plecos indeed showcase unique beauty with their albino coloring, different from the common black-colored Plecos. The patterns and colors on the Banded Catfish sound fascinating, especially with the gold and black patterning along with the distinct fins. Nature truly presents an array of captivating fish species!

@@AquaWorldInfo i raised two black Plecos in the past, while they are all perished, your video talks that Plecos are sensitive to ammonia and nitrite, my Pleco fishes' death may be due to the cause, the Banded Catfish is sensitive to water flowing, you know, they often live in dynamic waters, in static waters, it is hard for them to adapt themselves to the environment and in my first experience of feeding Banded Catfish, it only survive for one day and i didn't equip itself with a filtering pump since at that time my tank is so small that the filtering device can't be installed😂

What size are they expected to grow? I have one turning up tomorrow. Do they get as large as the standard common?

Albino Plecos, like their common counterparts, can grow to a substantial size. On average, they typically reach around 12 to 15 inches in length in a well-maintained aquarium. However, the ultimate size can be influenced by factors such as tank size, water quality, and diet. Providing a spacious environment and a balanced diet will contribute to the overall health and potential size of your Albino Pleco. Be prepared for them to reach a significant size as they mature.
