    How to tell the sex of powder blue gouramis

    • @AquaWorldInfo
      @AquaWorldInfo День назад

      To tell the sex of Powder Blue Gouramis, look at their dorsal fin. Males typically have a longer, more pointed dorsal fin, while females have a shorter, more rounded one. Males also tend to be slightly more vibrant in color. Do you have a few in your tank that you're trying to sex?

      @AquaWorldInfo 3 дня назад

      I'm sorry to hear about your Mono Angelfish. 😢 Scats can be aggressive, and their dorsal spines do contain toxins that might harm other fish. It's possible that an encounter with the Scat could have caused this. It might be best to separate them if the Mono shows any signs of life or if you try keeping them in the future.

      I understand your concerns about GloFish. The ethical debate around genetically modified fish is ongoing, with opinions on both sides. Silver Dollar fish are definitely known for their love of munching on plants! 🌿 If you want to keep them in a planted tank, you might have better luck with tough, fast-growing plants or even artificial ones. Have you tried any alternatives to keep them from nibbling on your greenery?

    • @AquaWorldInfo
      @AquaWorldInfo 16 дней назад

      @saad_b15 For plants that can handle Silver Dollar fish, try tough, fast-growing options like Java Fern, Anubias, and Amazon Swords. These plants are hardy and generally not appealing to them. Floating plants like Water Lettuce or Frogbit can also work well, as they provide shade and are usually left alone.

      @@AquaWorldInfo ok I see. Can you advice , can 3 Rainbow sharks live with Plakat in 7 gallon?.. 😅

      @enigma533 ,🤣🤣 No bro. In my experience, within 10 minutes, all three of your sharks will jump out of the aquarium. Based on my experience, you should keep only one rainbow shark in a tank; otherwise, it's certain that the other shark will die.

    What should i give them to eat 😅???

      Great question! 🦈 Red Tail Sharks are omnivores, so they enjoy a varied diet. You can feed them high-quality flake or pellet food, supplemented with live or frozen foods like brine shrimp and bloodworms. They also appreciate some plant-based foods like algae wafers or blanched vegetables. Happy feeding!

    tiger barbs are my favorite species of fish to keep because of their wonderful looks and nature the way they interact etc. unfortunately in my experience, they are the most sensitive and difficult fish to keep them alive for long time when it comes to water parameters. that's why i plan to switch to another species of fish.

      Tiger Barbs are indeed beautiful and lively fish! 🐟 It's unfortunate that they can be quite sensitive to water parameters. Maintaining stable conditions can be challenging. Switching to a hardier species might be a good idea if you're looking for less maintenance.
