    A fantastic watch. A reminder of the very first watches. With Tissot, the price-quality ratio is excellent.

    I like this watch. As a matter of fact, I bought one. When it was first introduced a few years ago, a picture of it had "Antimagnetique" printed on the dial, just like the original; looked very cool. But for present day technical/legal reasons, they had to remove it. Thanks for the video.

      I’m glad they did. I think it’s more a watch in its own right, without that text. Mainly because it’s not more antimagnetic than any other new mechanical watch.
      It’s still a vintage inspired watch, but more in the sense of a timeless design instead of a copy of past glory.
      Ordered one today, curious how it will look on a black alligator.

    Great review! Question for you: Do you know the diameter of the dial/crystal?

    What a handsome watch
    Only issue is it's a bit overpriced at $1000. Feels like the MSRP for this piece should be around $600-$800 instead
    Alternatively, if they wanted to price this at $1000, then they should have given it some extras, like a special box with an extra strap (maybe an integrated bracelet) thrown in
    And maybe add a power reserve indicator on the reverse side, that would instantly make it worth the $1000 price tag

    • @somspaple
      @somspaple  2 года назад

      Thanks! And that's an interesting take on the watch. Usually it's considered great value because of the looks and that beautiful movement visible through display case back.

    What is the Power Reserve after full winding?

    • @somspaple
      @somspaple  Год назад +1

      I've not tested it - Tissot claims 46 hours. Since I wear other watches too , never get a chance to check the actual power reserve .

      @@somspaple the lugs overhang, a strap isn’t gonna change that. I have a 7in wrist and wouldn’t wear this watch. But wear what you like.

    • @somspaple
      @somspaple  3 года назад +2

      @@nintendokings it may not change the lug situation. But straps do change the way watch looks on wrist wrt size. In fact none of the watches that i have are on stock strap! Ofcourse I'll be wearing this watch!
