Good morning Bill. You know I'm a big fan of your videos, but this one is my favorite of all time. I was so happy that you were the person who purchased this watch. My jealousy toward the person who "beat me to it" turned to complete and utter joy and happiness. Wear it in good health, you deserve it! I'm sorry you got stuck with FedEx again. Hopefully one day you'll have a great overseas shipping experience with them. Best regards, Brian
Hi Brian, I really felt bad about presenting the Moritz Grossmann AUTUM Pure H. After I made the video, I was thinking, "Well it's been on C24 for a month; so everyone had a shot at it...." Then the 'Watch Vulture' in me decided to pounce!-sort of 'The devil made me do it' excuse. Just glad it made it through the FedEx 'kill-a-deal' maze. Take care, Bill
What a story of actually getting the watch and the interaction with FedEx Dr.!! Crazy story dealing with the software 😂 Congratulations on another great acquisition to your collection!
Hi Bill, congratulation on your new watch. I actually saw the same watch few weeks ago and a Breguet 5177 white enamel dial were in bargain price. Then, I decided to go for the later so I can compare the dial with my Etude 1 and Breguet 5177. I love dealing with the seller from UAE and Japan because they tend to have amazing deal (good price). 99% of the Japanese seller will show their integrity by picturing of all the watch defects (if any), and describe the watch problem (if any) in Chrono24, so the buyer can expect what they pay for.
An eventful story for a great watch (made by a great company!). Now that you're in the German silver stranglehold, Bill, time for you to take a visit to your closest Lange boutique and compare the three great Deustch brands: Lang und Heyne, Moritz Grossman, & A. Lange und Soehne! Particularly curious to see which one you like the best :D
Yes, Tuna, for international shipping, I've heard DHL is #1. FedEx has gone a little too far in cutting down expenses by substituting junky AI software for people. Also, they seem to find something wrong with every international watch shipment that just makes me (and others) want to use any other shipper. On the other hand, the people I deal with at FedEx are doing the best they can. Take care, Bill
Hi Bill, Please watch out with tracking numbers and barcodes. The tracking number can allow someone to see in which city a package was delivered and the barcode that looks like a large QR code can help find the full address I believe. Hiding the address is usually not enough.
Thanks Abdul. Indeed I was lucky to find a watch that good that I could afford. Busy getting ready my watches to sell to make room for my two new Lyriques! Take care, Bill
Hi Bill, congrats on the new watch! Like you, I’m not keen on skeleton dials but this is an exception as the hands remain visible. Happy wearing. Regards Ed
Thanks Ed. The 'collage of hands' does make it a little harder to read, but not so hard I cannot read the time... I just have to pay closer attention! Take care, Bill

@@watchartsci it’s a sound tactic. At high level collecting, a lot of it is knowing what you want and what’s a good deal on it when it comes along. That kind of knowledge only comes from experience.

I'm gonna get together with him & try & figure it out a bigger case would be easier since he's got the movement & hand together. What a disappointment.

I'll keep you posted.
I concur RH, and they've had some great watches entered in the GPHG and not even a nomination. When I talked with Christin Hutter in October, she told me that most of their watches had sold out-they only make about 200 annually and they're very expensive. I got lucky is all. Take care, Bil
Congrats on the watch! MG is on my wish list as well. I was wondering if you'd do a video or perhaps a stream where we discuss popular/favorite/aspirational square/rectangular watch comparisons. L&H Georg, Patek Gondolo, Rolex Cellini Prince, Moritz Grossman Cornerstone, Cartier Tank CPCP, etc?
Great story! Just bought a watch from Dubai last month. Super nice guy, great job with bubble wraps. Please edit the video if you can. Besides fun play with the address. There is another information you need to remove. Can never be cautious enough online.
Thanks Pand! If you're referring to the watch's serial number if you look closely you'll see that the two are different and neither is correct.🤫 Fun with Photoshop. Take care, Bill
Congratulations on the MG Bill! Amazing watch. 👍 Your story about the international shipping situation is the reason I don’t do international shipping anymore, I already lost 3 purchases!
Oh no OBud! Three were lost! I've had none lost but one was returned because of the gator strap (got it later, though.) I much prefer national shipping as well, but it's hard to pass up a good deal. Take care, Bill

Hi Bill thank you for sharing your experience. I live in Bangkok so I'd rather have a holiday in Japan and buy one or two watches at the same time. I dealt with the Japanese in the past and although there reluctant to haggle your pretty sure to get the genuine article. Hope one day to pick up a Habring even if it means a holiday with the wife in Austria.
Michael, I'm pretty sure that a US Customs charge was added to the CC I used to pay for the watch. However, US Customs charges for watches is as little as 1.5%-not much. Take care, Bill
I keep wondering what they're doing to make shipping so difficult with International shipping, Stonitful. The individual people I've dealt with are very nice and helpful, but they always add baggage. Why? Take care, Bill
Im sorry, but the finishing of the case, dial and the movement looks like Aliexpress 100$ watch, except the regulator, which is the piece of art. .I know, its MG,but for the price you pay you can get PP or Lange.
