Goodyear to invest $575M to modernize its tire plant in southeastern Ontario | Power & Politics

  • Goodyear Canada Inc. announced Monday it’s investing more than $575 million to expand its plant in Napanee, Ont. The company says the project will create 200 new manufacturing jobs by 2027 and reduce emissions at the plant by 10 per cent by 2030. Ontario’s Minister of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade Vic Fedeli calls the expansion project ‘an exciting addition to the EV supply chain’ in Ontario.
