There are two crucial errors in this synopsis.
Melanie does not escape Atlanta while pregnant; Scarlett’s already helped deliver her baby. Ashley does not reveal his feelings FOR Scarlett after Melanie’s death; he reveals the depth of his feelings for Melanie. As a result Scarlett finally realizes: a) Ashley has never loved her, and b) She doesn’t care because she actually loves Rhett.

In the picture of the two young men in blue coats with a young Scarlett on the porch, the one on the right was George Reeves who would go on to play Superman on TV in the 1950’s.

    The book is amazing!
The movie is iconic as was the very first movie to be done in colour.
And "Frankly my dear ...." did cost the producer $5,000.00 in 1939 to go on screen.
It was a huge amount of money back then and even the law has been changed so the "damn" word could be said, as it is written in the book.
Thank you for the lovely video, I really enjoyed it. :)

🌹Scarlett was not jealous when she was on Ashleys and Melanies Marriage.
She knowed that Ashley go to war and was sad about that and afraid that he can die.
She married Charles Hamilton in sadness about the beginning War when she saw that all her Friends go from the good Plantage from Ashley.
She knowed that Charles is Melanies Brother.
🌹Scarlett is 16 Years young in the Beginning of that Movie!!!
This is a very special Thing to know!!!
🌹Scarlett was/is absolutly against War, same as Rhett Butler.🌹
That is to see and hear in the Beginning of the Film.
🌹She just said yes to Charles Hamilton when she heared his Words and saw Ashley with Melanie and know the Dangerous for many Friends of her too, She was in Sadness and Afraid for them all and shocked!!!

I thought she married Melanie's brother so that now she would be "kin" to Melanie, and therefore, have more access to Ashley. Hamilton was her sister's beau, and Kennedy, her second husband, was her other sister's beau.

Charles Hamilton, Melanie's brother, was India Wilkes' (Ashley's sisters') beau, and Frank Kennedy was Suellen O'Hara's beau. She marries Charles to try to make Ashley jealous and to prove she is desirable and in the book, her wedding is the day before the Wilkes' wedding, but in the movie, it is the day after. In the book, Scarlett has a son named Wade Hampton Hamilton with Charles Hamilton and a daughter with Frank Kennedy and to her credit, both children are alive by the end of the book, although her third child, Bonnie dies in the pony riding accident.

It might have helped if you had read the book, or seen the movie, to get most of your facts right.
