    How is Lebron an overall better player than Jordan? If we take all of Jordan's seasons before 1995, Jordan matched Lebron's top assist count in the NBA finals, matched his prime efficiency true shooting percentage, surpassed Lebron's steals per game by almost double, had a 32/8/8 record and logged the 2nd highest NBA finals assist rate in history behind Magic.
    The absolute only advantage Lebron has over 1984-1993 Jordan would be a season with a high 3 point percentage. Which is negated by MJ's ability to draw alot of fouls at and freethrows

      Michael Jordan is the best all-around player in Basketball History. LeBron is outside the Top 5 with Magic, Kareem, Bird, Kobe and MJ ahead of LeBron

    Did you notice that when he misses (on purpose most times) he knows exactly where the ball will be off the rebound??? Smartest player ever in the NBA!!!

    Jordan was drafted in 84 so he came from an era were high school and college had no 3 pt line. Yes, Jordan was a Lethel assassin at mid-range in the middle and on either side with his fade aways & step backs. The 3pt line was introduced into the NBA in 1979, College in 86 and high school 87. All players that were drafted in the NBA before 86/ was not used to shooting from the 3pt range and only certain NBA players were probably ask on their team to emphasis to be a 3pt shooter like Larry bird. Players are not going to take many of the 3 pts shots if they are more accurate with 2pt when the game is on the line & championship is on the line.

    You should also check out Larry bird and Magic Johnson. Jordan bird and magic were the three best players. They said Jordan ruled the air and bird ruled the ground. Bird and magic saved the league and Jordan took it global. Watch more you won't be disappointed. Great basketball!! Just keep in mind the three point shot didn't come into existence anti Larry and Magic rookie yes and the coaches discouraged it being used. I subscribed ❤

    Whenever I watch an MJ video I look for all the "devastating defense/all powerful hand-checking" people talk about that he faced (even though I saw his whole career). Didnt find it here, MJ is barely touched, if at all, on most of these shots. MJ took 49 shots (shot a good %, 1 assist), next closest was Pippen with 16 fga's, Bulls lost in over time.

      The slowest and most difficult defensive era is the 2000s (before 2010) with the late 1990s being 2nd.

      @@sumnahlennon5449 Offense and defense are played at the same time. A player having a great offensive game should make all the "devastating hand-checking/tough, all powerful defense" that existed back then step up to stop him at some point in the game.

    You young guys don't have to keep doing this stuff for attention. LeBron is a better all round player and it's ok to admit it. He actually routinely destroys guys that try to play like MJ lol. I'm old as shit with a heap of Michael Jordan memories admitting this.

    • @antav9371
      @antav9371 5 месяцев назад +1

      Exactly. Been saying it for years now. Lebron is a bigger better, all-around player than MJ. Then I get knuckleheads (like the one above) coming at me with nonsense like I've insulted their god or something. I try to be nice....but some times..!!! The game and players evolve, relax.

      Had a real nice jump shot and strangely good sense for where the ring is when he got off the ground. Seemed leagues ahead of everyone else in terms of athleticism at the time. For a guard anyway. Can't fault anyone for preferring either player. I just don't think Jordan would be as outstanding now, not to say he wouldn't be a tremendous player though. @@aerotypical4300

    • @antav9371
      @antav9371 5 месяцев назад

      @@aerotypical4300 I can see why people say MJ is a better scorer, but I think that is even questionable. First off, MJ and Lebron are different players, with different skill sets, but Lebron, for being more of a playmaker/facilitator is not far behind MJ in scoring. Some (not you) act like MJ averaged 30.1ppg and Lebron averaged 15.
      Of course Lebron is not done yet so his career averages may change but as of now Lebrons career ppg average is 27.2 ppg, MJ's is 30.1 ppg. But to be fair, which should be the goal but many are not, that shouldn't be the end of the story.
      When considering ppg, you have to take into account fga's (and minutes played if you really want to be exact). MJ averaged 30.1 but on 3 more shots per game than Lebron (22.9 vs 19.7 fga's per game). If Lebron took those 3 more shots its reasonable that he would hit 50+ % of them, his career field percentage. That would add at least 3 more points to his career average (more if some were 3pt'ers). Lebron would then have a career scoring average of 30.2 ppg, surpassing MJ by a hair. -----So is MJ really the better scorer, or did he just take more shots (which he did). Also, consider that Lebron passed MJ on the scoring list on less shots.
      (some will say you can't do what I just did i above, but Lebron has maintained that 50+ fg % for over 20 seasons. It's not illogical to conclude he would hit 50%+ of those shots if he took them.)
      Even without that Lebron's assist average over MJ counts for points too.
      It's a team sport, Lebron is a better team player, and a helluva scorer too. He's better than MJ.

      Lebron shoots under 40% outside of a layup and the they opened the floor. Cut the 💩 with Lebron is the best all around this or that.
