Looks like fun. Can't wait till spring. I just picked up a gl1500. I've had 2 gl1200s and 1 gl1000 over the years. I took my gl1200 to Sturgis in 2012 and had a blast
Thanks Joshua! Where are you ? I’m here in Mesa Az. FINALLY it’s fall. This past summer was a hot one. I think we had about 50 days in a row at over 110°.. only bad part is now the higher elevations I rode to get out of the heat, are icy/snowy. Thank you for subscribing Brother! You’re number 682!! Next target is 1000. Someday…
@@imthebrosman I’m located in New Brunswick Canada. We had a great riding season here this year. Too cold now and we have had snow. My Goldwing is tucked away in the garage under cover til spring. Keep making great videos. 1000 isn’t that far away.
Makes me want to go jump on my GL1800 and hit the road! We live in AR and our son lives in Flagstaff, AZ. It sure is pretty up in the mountains there at 8000 ft elevation. 👍 The Loblolly pines smell like vanilla!😂
My first wing was an 88. I sold it with over 400,000 miles on it. My second wing is a 97. The 50th anniversary edition. It only had 18,000 miles on it when I got it. I’m set for life! Please subscribe!
Man my bike makes that sounds on start up too! The sounds like an air leak. I thought I had a vacuum issue, but I see others vintage Goldwings do it as well.
Thank you very much, Jim I sure appreciate it Hey, have you subscribed? I’m working on a sultan camping trip we just went on. And next week we’re doing a Tucson rodeo run.
Yes Sir I did! I found a new gearbox for the front wheel. Cost me 15 bucks in about an hours worth of time to switch it out. Cable was good, and I am now operational. The best part of it is now my cruise control works again! Thanks for asking and staying on me to do the right thing
🤣Yeah, that's a thing. Been riding & camping for many years. 2020 I went "full dad" and bought an '84 GL1200. I Looked at all that SPACE I now had!! I could finally afford just a couple luxuries... Yeah, that barge ended up with sh1t strapped all over it! Despite its apparent size it really doesn't have that much space compared to a couple modern saddlebags and a big old dry bag over the pillion.
There’s a small cast “ fork “ in the front wheel assembly, that the Speedo cable screws onto. My “fork” is worn. So it won’t spin the cable. It’s on my to-do list
Yes, I still have the GoldWing, the road glide, the monkey, the Coleman, latest addition is theCrush (custom MotoVox 11 minibike). all of the bikes seem to have their own lane. I did however sell my XR 400 race bike. What do you ride?
@@imthebrosman nothing right now. i've previously owned a suzuki water buffalo, an 1100 sportster, a '77 flh, a 1500 suzuki boulevard, a klr 650, a buell cyclone, a '76 superglide, and a 1982 gs 750. i have no bikes right now, my wife has a serious illness. i'm also a former motor cop from a fairly large midwest city.
I hope your lady makes progress in her situation. I went thru a Moto dry spell back in the early 90’s . New father, no money. Keep moving forward brother. Thank You very much for watching and subscribing. More videos soon. My GoPro did card took a crap on my last trip through monument valley. Saving up for a new dad card $25 bucks is a lot right now

you are going to love that 1500 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just love my GL1500 !!!!
Great video. It’s winter here now and I miss riding my GL1500. Watching great videos like this ease the pain. Love the soundtrack as well.

Yep Flag is a sweet place. No riding the “land barge” right now tho. Too much snow and black ice!
Makes me want to go out and buy a GW 1800 Trike and hit the road
I remember one time I was in Phoenix with my RV. Nice T-shirt weather in winter. Drove up to Flagstaff and there was a foot of snow.
Love the video but I'd like to see some firepit cooking, you gotta love those old Hondas, bet ya didn't have one breakdown 😊

Yes, especially when you’ve got the choke on. All my wings for 20 years sounded the same way although I’ve only had an 88 and now my 97.
@@imthebrosman I appreciate you putting my mind at ease!
Thanks for sharing
Nice ride. You have more guts than me riding a bike that has gauges and lights quitting on it half the time. Hope you found the problem.
My fuel and temp gauges are all I really watch
Thanks !
i love this video !!!
Thank you, Mark. I really do appreciate it.

I think you broke a record? Have I ever seen as much gear carried on top of GL1500 GW? Don't think so.
Wait till you see my “comfort camping” set up! I made a custom flat bed trailer that is a whole nother situation!!

Heya! Thanks for the great chanel! You've got me hankering for a Wing! What's wrong with the speedo on Midnigt?
Thanks very much. Glad to be a motivator to get a new back on the road.
Speedo is all fixed. It was a gearbox problem in the front !
Are we supposed to name our Goldwings??? Is that a thing??
All the Great Stead’s over my lifetime have had names. Dollar, Silver, Trigger, Scout and , secretariat from the late late show and Craig Ferguson
