Detachment of the Kings Troop Royal Horse Artillery, Band of the Household Cavalry marching from St. James Palace. Belgian Armed Forces Day commemorations at the Cenotaph and the Band of the Grenadier Guards leading the parade from the Cenotaph and down Birdcage Walk. Also got a quick clip of the Household Cavalry Band returning to St James's Palace.

The guards were Coldstream guards because if you look at their collars, it is that of the Coldstream guards.

The Guards band were Grenadier Guards, buttons evenly spaced. The ones immediately behind the Household Cavalry Regiment were Coldstream, buttons in pairs.

Why does the Household Cavalry Drum Major carry no staff/ mace ?

Well, a drum major's staff would be a bit bulky when mounted on a horse. But, in fact, the Household Cavalry
does not have a drum major. They do have a Trumpet Major. But the band is led when mounted by the
Director of Music and when on foot it is led by the Band Corporal Major.
