While I prefer drinking matcha as a straight tea without sweeteners/creamers etc, I still found so many useful tips in this video. As a guy new to matcha in America, I appreciate so very much you taking the time to post it.. 😀
Your skills in cooking is amazing! I enjoyed watching how you made this matcha drink from start to end. Never get tired watching. Thanks for sharing your passion in cooking. Stay blessed💖💖💖
Very informative tutorial. Thank you for sharing all the useful information. I also just watched your Perfect Taiwanese Castella Cake Recipe video. I am low carb/gluten free and would like to know if you can recommend a non gluten flour coconut/almond to replace the wheat flour in your recipe. I am gluten intolerant and your suggestion would be appreciated. Thank you in advance. Have a wonderful day.
Glad you liked my video! I have never made Taiwanese castella with almond or coconut so I'm not sure how it will turn out, but when I made it with white rice flour, it came out good☺
Thank you for your reply. I don't use rice flour but I will try using your technique with a non-glutinous flour and see what happens. Have a great day!
😢 my matcha keeps coming out bitter. I tried with water that was 165F so I guess I'll try with 155F and try the iced one instead. ❤ thank u for this tutorial
Why didn’t you tell the watchers to first warm up the chawan and to soften the chasen by letting it soak hot water for a bit to spread the tines? Warming up the chawan doesn’t cool down the matcha and hot water while mixing and softened chasen makes it lasts longer and mixes easier by being slightly softer. I’m sure you know about it but your watchers might not. Those matcha drinks you made looks great though. Good teaching video.

Hi, does your chasen slightly scrape the bottom of the bowl when you're whisking the matcha ?
Very informative tutorial. Thank you for sharing all the useful information.

Matcha is supposed to be bitter, so if you still find it too bitter for you, you can add sugar or syrup to sweeten it☺Arigato❤
Hi where did you get the colored green and white cups shown in the video?
I bought them at a tableware store in a department store in Japan☺I bought them about ten years ago, so it might be hard to buy the same ones🤔
