bought this on a whim after struggling for years with making consistent contact and hovering in the low 100's. Just played the best two rounds I've had in a long time, shooting in the mid 80's on both. This thing really helps with getting the Tempo right and improving ball striking.
Just Wow! I purchased an Orange Whip this week and it has made a tremendous difference in my golf swing. It's all about the rotation of the body, not the arms. I love this thing.
I bought an OWT about 6 weeks ago. It has helped me tremendously. I swing it before and during my practice sessions. How has it helped? 1.) It engages your shoulders on the backswing, so you develop a bigger turn 2.) It helps greatly with tempo, so you take the club back smoothly and the 'one piece takeaway', 3.) It helps with balance because the end is heavy and shaft is wippy. If you get off track, you will get off balance during the swing. You learn to stay in balance., 4.) It stretches your back, arm, abdomen and chest muscles, so you get looser, 5.) It helps with release and follow thru because that is what it wants to do. 6.) It helps with footwork and hip turn. Bottom line: I am hitting the driver more consistently and the ball speed is much hotter. There is no question about it. My routine is to warm up with the OWT, then hit the driver. Take a break and drink some water to give my body a chance to recover. Then swing the OWT for a few minutes to get the tempo and swing back. Then hit the driver again. And so on. I have tried many swing trainers, and this is the best by far.
You explained perfectly what the Orange Whip was designed to do for your golf swing. It's great to hear that it's helping you. Thanks for your support George!
Sounds like everything I need. Adding to my golf simulator arena.
I've just got one of these because tempo has always been an issue for me with my driver. I had 5 to 10 mins practice with the orange whip before starting a round of golf - fantastic results. Consistent drives hitting more fairways - worth every penny. My pre-round warn up routine is now using the orange whip rather than the practice nets.
Thank you for this video. I am older, and now have time to get back in the game of golf. I played golf decently in the past, but now it's all gone to heck. I wanted to start again with the basics, as if starting over., beginning with grip and stance. ( If you have recommended videos on these, please advise. ) . At the driving range, I hit the ball and I'm off-balance, falling back. I picked up your Whip, and I just started on these simple exercises a few days ago and they have proven to be very valuable. I'm 67. I run, hike, x-country ski - so I'm active in this aging body - but my wrist muscles, and now see my upper body muscles are out of shape. This Orange Whip is a bit "heavy" so it's building these muscles, while I slowly slowly get the correct "motion" down while keeping balance. I've had to put a bandaid on my right thumb trying to keep the Whip in control. I've rewound this video 50 times over in doing these exercises watching and re-listening to your lesson. Re-learning and taking notice of wrist and arms movement in the swing. I'll be doing more rewinds as I practice and practice. I feel I have a long way to go. But, I want to get it right, and I want to feel comfortable with my swing and balance, before I head back to the course. Thank you, Jack, for your time on this. Again, any other suggestions - grip and stance - greatly appreciated. Please, more video instruction.
Excellent for seniors. Good job of limbering up and getting a full back and follow through motion.
Ashley is very good at this.
Is it helpful to wear orange pants like you do when working the orange whip ??
i just got the midsize model, i'm 67 and the full size seemed too heavy and long. i luv this thing, it's got me swinging the way i used to with arms hands and club swinging and body responding. just couldn't do the dominant body swing. haven't hit it this good in a long time. the swing feels almost in slo-mo but it goes waaaaaaaay back! i definately recommend this.
Hey Steve...I know what you mean. I swung one of these at Dick's Sporting Goods and I almost fell on my ass!....I'm going to get the longer one any way and hope I can work into it...
The Orange Whip will help every golfer improve. Every golfer should own The Orange Whip!
Hi, very good video. I’m 6.2 and generally good with woods, not so good with irons. Which length should I get? Many thanks
Just got it today and WOW, for me featherweight at 118lbs, this is quite a weight workout😀
More Ashley please
Thas so creepy
@@Mittenpaw not as creepy as "more Bruce pleeze" lol
@@Mittenpaw that is creepy I agree
She has excellent form and can be appreciated
Can the whip be disassembled for travel on flights?
It cannot be disassembled.
Ashley and Bruce look like two paramilitary bodyguards
hello question about the top of backswing.
should i wait for the shaft to straighten out somewhat(unload?) or just swing down without the slight pause at the top?
thanks
john
Wait for the pause at the top. The shaft of the Orange Whip will lag and release as you continue your swing. The Whip will help you train your rhythm and balance.
I have an Orange whip and is usually in my back up bag. I am planning to put it in my bag for a nice warm up before the round. Does it help with increasing the swing speed as well?
The Orange Whip will increase your swing speed because it synchronizes your upper and lower body and develops your timing and rhythm. We also have our NEW Orange Whip LightSpeed which was designed specifically for speed training and focuses on increasing your swing speed while maintaining control and consistency.
Orange Whip Golf thanks! I appreciate it! I will start working on various drills.
Can the orange whip be used during a round or is that against the rules?
You cannot use it during a round. Keep it in the bag :)
@@OrangeWhipGolf thanks
What rule does it violate? I see pros carrying it with them on the course.
Hi I bought one.. Tell me how much time and reps must i do on a daily basis
We recommend you swing it at least 10 minutes a day or as much as you can. Continue to do the drills.

Why couldn't I do these same exercises with a normal club? It seems to me like this is about finding balance with repetitive motion more than anything else, which I feel like I could probably accomplish with a normal club. If I actually warmed up instead of hitting cold like a lot of people, my swing would probably be better. I'm not sure if this product would do anything for me that I couldn't do with a normal club.
The flexible shaft, counterbalance, and heavy orange ball are the components of the Orange Whip that exaggerate the feels that you cannot get from a regular club. The feels allow you to feel that your swing is balanced and in rhythm so that you transfer that athletic motion to your real swing after training.
This technique seems to be sounds enough. I'll give it a try 😎
Great practice exercises 👍 I have to get myself an orange whip.
I'd get three of them.
Harris English has one of these in his bag haha
Bruce...the Big Dipper...;-)
Ashley needs an orange skirt and Bruce needs orange shorts. Just saying.
Sup Bruce?
the guy in your demonstration video sways a little too much.
i don't see any head sway..he is fine
Am I the only one that finds this hilarious?
No. No you're not. This is probably a click or two away from the Dark Web.
What's hilarious is when you blow your tee shot past everybody.. That's hilarious.
This have to be a joke!? The only things thats great it his pants! Sorry thats a real joke ;)
Hi
Hi
Can I buy club head speed?
Improved sequence will help consistency, distance and club head speed.
Looks like both of those people doing the drills are swinging with their arms and not their bodies. If you play it is slower motion, it is the arms leading the orange whip which is the wrong way to do it. the body moves the whip and your arms are supposed to be following behind but not by much. If you look at the guy he is worse. His arms start the motion and are faster than the body.
Do agree. He is armsy there instead of letting it flow. She is better in that aspect but seems like she has a false transfer between the feet
🧡💛💚💜❤🖤
The orange pants is a bit too much lol
Damn , I thought that was Shane Gillis on the right for a min 😅
so none of that explained to me why i need this whip trainer to do all of this. why not just use a regular club? i'm not saying a regular club would be a suitable replacement; i'm saying that this video doesn't explain why it wouldn't be a suitable replacement.
Lag.
@@braddavis9780 which does what to improve my swing, exactly?
@@marksmith4892 better clubhead speed, compression of ball and striking consistency. I'm not claiming I'm any good at actually doing this. Just answering your question. :) Actually to answer your original question the obvious difference between a club and this training tool is the extreme flex and the weight. The whip bends and flexes far more than a stiff club would so that any timing issues are exaggerated, or if done with the right tempo, you feel a very smooth swing.
It forces you to complete the backswing. With a regular club you can jerk the club forward at any time which is a big problem for many people. The orange whip forces you to do a smooth, properly timed transition.
Over weighted and flexy long shaft, you need to synced up your whole body to get it back smooth and into smooth transition. You can just yank a club back arms/handsy and get no feedback, do that with this tool and you’ll know.
The young lady is flipping here feet rather than rotating....just saying
Seems like this kind of training will introduce a sway

this video started out like they were going to do a synchronized dance
too bad you can't feel that with a real golf club
youre not training to feel the whip, youre training yourself to feel your own body mechanics
@@rickdeckard1075 perhaps somebody should videotape their swing using the orange whip and try to duplicate that swing with their real club, such as still head, movement of the hips, arm movement, etc
@@stevenpalmer6399 yeah, thats a good observation, if the majority of the ppl could not transfer it to standard golf clubs, it would show that either theyre missing the point and the instructions for its use need to be more explicit, or the thing just doesnt work
Let's be honest fellas we are only watching this video because of Ashley
I wonder if she is still hot
Speak for yourself, I’m here for Bruce
Because you certainly couldn't do any of that with a, you know, golf club.
Bill Malec it feels completely different, which is the entire point of the product, to ingrain the feel that actually doesn’t come particularly naturally with a (much lighter) golf club.
Nope.. The extra weight and flex forces you into a timing that a regular club will not force you to keep. You could weight your club for the strength and flexibility aspect, but you wouldn't get the lag and timing aspect.
