Lil Wayne, “I Am Not A Human Being” TEN YEARS LATER - IT’S…BETTER THAN REBIRTH!

- For my 22nd episode of “TEN YEARS LATER,” I’m gonna be taking a look at the 2010 Lil Wayne album, “I Am Not A Human Being.” This is not the first time I’m talking about Lil Wayne for the series, as it was the second album Wayne released in 2010, being released just seven months after his rock album “Rebirth,” which was far and away one of the worst albums of the 2010s, and easily one of the worst records I’ve had to listen to. Needless to say, going into this album, I had a feeling that it would be decent. After all, there was no way it could be as bad as “Rebirth.” Even if it was another bad album, it would have to crawl over the bar that Wayne’s rock debut album set, because the bar from that album was on the floor. So did it go over the bar? Well…I guess it took a step over it.
Favorite tracks: With You, What’s Wrong With Them, That Ain’t Me, YM Banger, I Don’t Like The Look Of It
Least favorite tracks: Gonorrhea, I’m Single, Popular
Rating: Bad

What should I review next?
I agree. When this album came out, I did enjoy some songs from it and it did feel like a bit of a comeback from the atrocious Rebirth, but it was nothing special and not memorable in the hip hop world. If it is remembered for something, it’s the fact that it came out & went #1 while he was serving time. There’s 2 songs from this album i still vibe out with to this day: With You and I’m Single
Yeah, I agree. Definitely a step up from Rebirth, but I can name several Wayne projects I'd rather listen to than this one. Hell, even the few highlights I did mention, I haven't had much urgency to go back to since this video.
This album was Alr but nothing special imo but when ur comparing it to rebirth it sounds like a masterpiece also right above it with drake is still a classic
Yeah, Rebirth was such an agonizing album that almost anything was going to be an improvement.

Yeah, I heard that. Some of it was supposedly material that was supposed to be on Tha Carter IV as well.
