I take my hat off to you guys, been following your journey since the beginning and you both certainly like to push the boundary and try different things in trying to achieve your dreams. I know it costs but before long you will both look back at these videos and laugh. Keep your chins up. Tony
Thank you Tony. We appreciate your support
As plate begins W probably a Fiat Fleet car registered by Paragon at Portbury Docks. Dealer name on the plates Grays which was a Fiat main dealer.
Yea all our cars at Avis were W registered. Pre 51 reg they were HU at the end. I had T446RHU a Seicento!
This will blow your mind i bought a right hand drive pink vauxhall zafira with white leather my daughter she wanted it,it was in spain ,We drove it home to my house in UK. it drives realy fine . My daughter went to change the batterybecouse it was old under the battery was a canvas bag we took it in kitchen there was £14,000 in £20, notes .the car is fine now new battery .
Never 😕🚗👍🤣
Great Video, glad I didn't miss this one 🙂
Glad you enjoyed it 👍🏻
RUclipsr CAR UK has a yellow Fiat 500 he wants to scrap, maybe you could use it as parts car
I agree , he has butchered it for a number of parts but was talking about getting rid so might be worth a discussion. Would be an interesting bit of YT content also.
Contact Lee at Car UK channel in Crewe. He has a 500 the same colour he plans on scrapping. He would maybe sell you a door and panels etc. The gearbox may be OK too.
Thanks 😊
The only auction worth going to is Aston barclay bud, go in person as well, check the cars over when the keys come, try to stick to main dealer tackle, don't just buy on cheap, have a good look first, ditch the lazy on line bidding, it'll ruin you, no see, no buy.
Very true
@@ValleyAutosBirmingham I'm at Astons now bud, got a pug 107,425 bid,low miles panda 450 and a 40k seat mi for 3200,plus fees, all seem OK, direct main agents, 2 cheapies sell about grand (ish) maybe 4 and a half for mi. 2 cheapies will go this weekend, that's what you want to be doing, imho anyway mate
Enjoyed video ,have a great week and all the best
Thank you! You too!
Im with a few of these salvage/repo auction sites. They increase the times when people add more bids until a certain point. Its not fair i think.. great video by the way.👍
Thank you
Hi guys love the video have a lovely week 😊😊😊
Thank you! You too Andrew 👍🏻
12 plate 500 at auction last night did 2200, so if you got that one fairly OK you'd not be robbing anyone at 2k (ish) we just paid 5k for a car at auction, needs discs, pads, service, mot, never mind cheapie cars, like your mate said when he picked it up, tidy car, I'd do mot, quick oil change, vallet, spray wheel trims, or new cheap ones and get it sold, just say it's a cheap car, as is, they'll be all over that.
You are right mate
Eric is Banana Man leads an amazing double life buying fiat 500s without using vehicle score 🤪😂😂great vlog again 👊🏻👍🏻 see you on the next one 👊🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Legend!
Good video and breaking the banana car is a very good idea save you a of hassle and money,
Really enjoyed this video god bless you two,
Great video you tell them Sarah I used to get that hope your both doing well 😊
Thanks Fiona! We are well thanks! Hope your well 😊
I liked the video before viewing it, as I knew it would be top-quality. I hope you're both well ♥. Have a great week 🙂. I wonder if they didn't know about reverse as they didn't put it in any gears? I also suspect they didn't put it on a ramp to check under the car.
Thanks Henry!! All good Thankyou! Hope your well 😊 we will have an update very soon!
@ValleyAutosBirmingham I am well, thank you ♥️
Liked before viewing!
Hope it goes well for you but you should never buy blind👍💯
Very true. We learn the hard way
I haven’t bought a 500 for over a year. The last few I had I spent too much money prepping them. Dump the 500’s. 12, 13, 14 plate fiestas are a better bet. You got a BCA branch near you?
I do like 1.2 fiestas
@@ValleyAutosBirmingham You got the BCA app?
Banana man was a legend.. I wouldn't worry about the dents etc mate fix the reverse gear issue and part ex it . Or swap it for a banana man figure and poster. Love you both for being decent honest working class people, innit 🤣🤣
Thanks mate
My name is Norman. But it's not me bidding.🤣🤣
🤣
He went to doctors he said people keep ignoring me ,The receptionist said next please .
Where did the banana go to the doctors ......... because he wasn't peeling very well great video
🤣🤣🤣
This can happen too anybody, heads up and keep looking 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👏👏🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧☘️☘️☘️☘️☘️
Cheers Mate
Gearbox issues are well known on them fiat 500
Same box as the ford ka..
yes they are 😒
13 plate fiat 500 with 139k sold for £400 ..
Probably fooked. , but still cheap
Spares only 👍
WR is a Bristol reg.
Gotta disagree about arrow auctions but if you like them thats the main thing,if you intend to keep it it might be worth contacting lee from car uk in crewe as he has a banana fiat 500 for spares or maybe trade it on as selling for parts it could hang around for a long time
Hi Mark we are breaking it for spares
@@ValleyAutosBirmingham lol I actually wrote the comment and posted it just before you said about keeping it for spares🙈🤣
Some auctions add time on if you bid late , it’s happened to me Gregg
nightmare !!
"And when ERIC eats a Banana!" 😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣 he turns into. BANANA 500
Payed way too much for that yellow fiat 500. 20% plus vat on top of purchase price. Very expensive.
We don't win them all. Do we
To be fair it looks alright that little yellow fiat. They're not expensive for tax I wouldn't bother about little dents
It needed a bit more than dents to be fair.
instead of saying breaking the the Banana you should of said peeling the Banana! i'm lucky the auction i go to as a friend who works there does take all the pictures so i get a heads up before i travel 40 miles or not
Handy that is
all them spare parts greg don't forget the engine
I know £350
Great video 😊
Thanks! 😊
It's called auto extend on those type of auctions, as long as there's a bid it just goes on, I've had another hour added, tbh stuff like that, no keys, no view needs to be just above scrap price, or don't bother, I was buying them in say 2018 for 80 quid 200 the most, meet the key guy down there, maybe 120 a key, he'd do say 5 for me, then the fun would start, missing gears, head gaskets, half stripped engines, some we'd actually leave there to scrap, paying say 1100 quid with no keys tho bud is just not on, tbh for a dvla seizure that fiat is fairly good.
got lucky but unlucky at the same time 🤣
@@ValleyAutosBirminghamI don't think it's too bad, take the battery and tray out to access the selectors, loads a wd40 and work them with a bar, clean it up, mot, knock that door edge out, touch in, 1995 or 2195,if you get a fussy main dealer type customer, fob them off, just say it's a cheap car at that price, as is, trust me you'll sell it and make a wage, not be great, but then onto the next one, I like to sort everything, but sometimes you can't and have to just punt it out, did the same on a 14 plate punto the other day, few minor issues, dent in door, had 1200 in it, sold it on FB for 1400, not great, but at least it's something, tbh you've got to do most things yourself, you can't really send old cars to bodyshops, mechanics and all that, best skill you could learn is a bit of paint repairs, I blow bits in on virtually every car.
Some recovery driver ent it runs out of diesel 😂🤣
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Keep it as a advertising car for valley Autos. It will stand out a lot more than the Peugeot. Just don't go dogging in it you will be seen easy. Lmao. Awesome vids Keep up the good work . Greg and sez.
I could paint it camo and blend in to back ground 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
your daughter is well funny . She liked that .
🤣🤣🤣
Did you have the doghouse meeting in the end?
😂 never a doghouse meeting!! 😂
Hi just wated to know if your able to get me the name of the company that you used to code the key for your car as l am looking for someone to recode a key for myself many thanks in advance..
Hi yes email us on the website and we will pass details over. Thanks
Eric is Bananaman
Yes Eric 🤣🤣🤣
Have you got a link for the site your buying from at al
@@daz196749 Wilson's auctions. They sell dvla seizures. 30% on top of purchase price. Plus vat on all lots.
Craig,, why don’t you buy a non-runner and use the engine out of the banana 😛
may well do Lee !!
I've got one that's been stood, it was the same in reverse, it was cables rusted at the engine end, worked it back and forth with wd40. On dvla repos there always a bit rough and or faulty, usually parked up with a fault, on say a fiat 500 at 20 quid tax it says it all really. I used to buy dvla seizures all the time from Harrisons at Dewsbury, had some real horrors, some were OK. Tbh I think your being too harsh on yours, I'd chuck a test on it and 1995 it as is, obviously it needs to go into reverse, you'd sell it St away, you just can't spend 1200 quid on old cars, your just going to have to compromise and get things sold, that's what the games about, I've noticed on every 500 you get it's shocks, cam belt, blah, blah, you just can't do that and make any money on cheapies, get it tidied up by yourselves and punt it out, if you've got say 1500 quid in it, 1995 it, decent wage that.
Thanks Royston! Really appreciate your knowledge and advice mate 👍🏻👍🏻
@@ValleyAutosBirmingham OK bud, your there to sell cars, not to make perfect examples, get flipping.
@@ValleyAutosBirmingham I've made it a rule, no see, no buy, been to Prees heath, Aston barclay today, 200 miles round trip for a car, I won't buy on line, been caught too many times, you'd have given that 500 as miss if you'd have seen it.
She sent him to the doctors ,He kept feeling like a snooker ball the doctor said get in front off the CUE,
🤣
How much to get the key made up?
160
So instead of a banana it turned out to be a lemon😢
I would say so!! Alls not lost though!! 👍🏻
@ValleyAutosBirmingham no of course not,you should make money back on parts ,and as they say ,live and learn.good luck
@@toppertruthio very true!! Thankyou for supporting our channel 👍🏻
your like a pair off curtains pull your self together .
🤣🤣🤣🤣 u crack me up. Another good one !!
Hello bud arrow is a shit auction that auctioneers is total knob pushes prices to the limit
@@captainidiot127 he use work at wilsons in queensferry. Bit of a nasty peice of work
Greg is in the dog house 😂🤣 you going into the scrap trade now instead of second hand car seller 🤣😂 I wouldn't of gone anywhere near them as nothing is that simple with newer cars wat is the saying don't buy a car without vehicle score you paid a bit to much but I'm not the one who keeps buying fiat 500 you should of released when the bidding time was messing around you mugg greg 😂🤣
I got stitched up 🤣🤣🤣
@@ValleyAutosBirmingham you said it and Sara won't let you forget it as well for a long time mate 🤣😂
good idea lol but you got to watch what goes on were lol
