One thing you didn't mention was the other aspect of Kiriko's ult. It isn't just a fire rate and move speed increase. It also increases the rate that your cooldowns recharge. You can use your abilities faster.
The more aggressive you are the better it is, generally I tell people when playing kiriko whenever your teammates are no longer in need of healing throw out your knives and do dmg, never sit there waiting to heal. In terms of where you should be anywhere in range of your tank and DPS don't over push and don't be too far out from them
@@iTeHee good to know. i’m a pretty high rank player in ow and am generally extremely good at most games. i’ve been playing since ow1 launch and have gotten quite decent at kiriko mechanically but as of recently now that people understand how to play against her i find myself vastly either underperforming in dmg or over-performing and being away from my team in the process. i’m still trying to find the balance between playing defensive and being aggressive with getting and holding angles to throw knives from. i’m crossing my fingers that perfect balance will start to come to me once i figure out how to position myself.
@@rednebula7612 the thing is with kiriko is that you will only be as good as your team as. For example, your shift skill is only activated when a teammate is nearby etc, so when your team is popping off you'd probably feel like your kiriko is insane
@@iTeHee this is also true. i just don’t like to use my team as an excuse lol. plus i’ve heard from a lot of places kiriko has potential to carry games. i would like to get to the point where i can hit my stride and play that role yk. this is the frustrating and also exciting part of learning complicated characters in games to me.
What guide do you want to see next ?
I think you may have made a mistake when you said mercy should be healing almost 100% of the time.
Well I mean damage boost too just don't use pistol lol

Yess! I can't believe I forgot that haha. Good catch
@@iTeHee Arguably the reason it's so incredibly good. Some characters are completely cooldown-dependent.
so how aggressive should i be playing? generally where should i be playing?
