While Emily really grew to love and care for Alfie, no matter how much she tried she couldn’t forgo her feelings for Gabriel and vice versa. The both tried to push their feelings away from one another but in the end it hurt their actual partners. This is why I think Emily and Gabriel should be endgame. However, I think with Cami pregnancy it will complicate things. I actually prefer there be complications because it will make the show more interesting and it depicts the reality and complexity of love and relationships. But still hoping for a happy ending ofc, whether Emily is with Gabriel, Alfie, or happily single.

Alfie is such a good dude. I hope he gets a win. Julian (her co-worker) also deserves a win. He's right that he's always in Emily's shadow. Feels a bit sketch that the 2 black guys keep getting shit on. Gabriel is so boring (not the actor just the character lol) They write him so passive, for someone who left his family to pursue his dreams he's not really a man of action. Emily makes sense. She's only really good at work and is learning to be better with her personal life. Camille has an opportunity to decide what kind of life she wants for herself finally. She seemed to be stuck in the expectations of her family (as Gabrielle is just a staple at this point so it's just comfortable). Maybe Cami is lesbian or bi and I hope she gets to explore that in her own time. I know she cheated and that's messed up but also finding something out about yourself (like maybe you're L/B) is tough and she shouldn't be outed. Cami and Gabrielle obviously have a lot to sort out. This Season was def my favorite thus far. Even though they did Alfie dirty!!!

I know this is unrelated but I just wanted to say I kind of like Gigi she’s like the exact opposite of Camille’s mother, just calls it like she sees it lol. I think Mindy was pretty badass standing up for Emily like that it made me love her character more. I know people in real life who would not do that after meeting someone like Nicola. Also Camille’s scene at the wedding was top notch acting. Emily and Gabby’s actors played the whole “denying feelings” part really well too, especially when they had that Michelin star discussion seeing them together you just know they still have feelings. Man Camille really threw Emily under the bus here but I’m kind of relieved that relationship was over it was getting too toxic, built on lies.
If Emily and Gabriel end up together next season, I feel like that's a lazy storyline that is too simple. I really felt Emily grew this season and truly tried to put her all with Alfie I honestly think they can work it out if the writers actually give them a chance to a happy ending. Either that or they should just have Emily end up single
