Want to enter the world of Sonos and are debating what to go for budget-wise: beam 2 + sub mini + era 100 or just arc ultra? In terms of price, the whole set comes out like Arc Ultra alone.....
That’s a great question. I had a Beam Gen 2, Sub Gen 3, and pair of era 100’s. It sounds great. But I can tell you. The arc ultra replacing my beam. My set up is now on a whole other level. At the end of the day. It’s your hard earned money. I would say, buy the arc ultra. Then add to your system when money allows. I buy refurbished Sonos units from either Sonos direct or on their eBay store. The arc ultra is the only piece I have purchased new.
Sonos beam really packs a punch for its size. I have a beam 2 + sub mini + 2 x era 100s and they sound phenomenal, look super sleek in my living room and take very little space. My complaint with Sonos is they don’t allow us to use Era 100s as dedicated front L and R channels. I would love to create a LCR setup for wider front soundstage but Sonos simply doesn’t want my money
Sonos would 2X-4X their sales if they allowed you to add extra 2-6 Symfonisk, Era 100/300, One SLs, or Fives as L/R fronts, side Atmos, or additional rear surrounds to compete against the Nakamichi Dragon 11.4.6. Other than being a software change, not sure why not?
yea people have been asking this for years now. Not sure if there is a technical reason why they have not implemented it yet or a business one. If it’s a business decision, then it’s a pretty stupid one IMO.
I have the Beam Gen 2, Gen 3 sub, and One SLs on a LG OLED in a medium size office. My Arc Ultra with dual Gen 3 subs and Fives are in a Great room 3X larger space connected to a LG OLED. Both sound fantastic to me with the exact same content. I don't think I could swap the systems between rooms because each soundbar seems to be the right size/sound for each space.
@@luispreciado1197 The Arc Ultra is in a rectangular Great room around 20 feet X 50 feet X 10 foot ceilings. The Arc is against the far wall, sofa sitting around 18 feet away facing the Arc/TV, and rear Fives around 12-14 feet behind the sofa against wall on stands. I have a Roam near the sofa for night time viewing and an Era 100 in the kitchen for music or background TV if in the kitchen (so I don't have to crank up the Arc to hear the news/sports).
@@mrgold3591 Ugh, what a good room size, I'm sure the sound is distributed very well, I don't know how advisable it would be to change my beam 2 for the arc when my room is 13 ft x 13 ft x 8 ft to the ceiling. Thanks for having responded. Greetings.
@ Is your primary sitting position in the middle of the room or against a wall? I stuck to my Beam 2, gen 3 sub, and One SLs in my office since my small sofa is against a wall with rear surrounds in either side about 2 feet away. The Beam 2 is about 10 feet from the sofa. The arc would be good if you have space for the atmos bubble in the middle of the room. My office is around 12 feet X 16 feet X 10 foot ceiling.
@@mrgold3591 My sitting position is against the wall with 13 ft away from my beam 2 and about 3.5 ft away from each sonos one, it's probably better to stick with the beam.
Hi friend, can you recommend me some headphones with a good audio quality, very good noise cancellation, deep bass to listen to corridos and hiphop with a Budget From 100 dollars
@@michael-4k4000 the Sony Quad is more as a real 5 or 7.1 with amplify, sound spatialisation is very large but I don't like the signature of sony's sound (not neutral too boomy) since ht-g700 i'm tested and measure, the high frequency have much sibilance.

Great review. I particularly liked the long sampling you provided. Thanks.
I also think it’s the best part of the video

What is the size of the space where you have the system with the arc ultra?

Expensive soundbar doesn't support other sources only Dolby Atmos and no HDMI. Sennheiser ambeo max more worth it..
Ambeo max is twice the price.
got it and love it, however real rears are still more immersive
Buy bookshelf speakers tham these gimmicks
Thank you!
Why would you increase treble by three clicks then complain about brightness?
have had the BEAM 2 and now the ARC ULTRA the ARC ULTRA in every way not even close in my opinion cheers
ultra better?
So Arc ultra not even close to the Beam 2? The beam better?
which one is better?
@@mateelek3914 ARC ULTRA is better by far
