I'm a photographer, so I fully understand the benefits of a larger image sensor. And if I was getting this to primary capture land scape images, the Mavic Pro 2 would be my choice. But for video purposes, the advantages the Zoom gives in creativity may out weigh the improved image quality the M2P. Especially with the way online video is highly compressed. Unless you delivering the video to a friend, family member or a client on a SSD drive, and their watching it on a computer with 4k monitor and high video card. How are they really going to see the difference? And remember, %50 of your viewers are watching your content on a smart phone, no way they can tell the difference. And none of what I said takes in account the Mavic 2 Pro issues of the warped horizon issues and the overheating issues that cause it record at 2.7k instead of 4k. How true these issues are I can't say, I don't own the M2P, but they certainly worth considering and looking into. That being said, excellent video as always Billy. And it's nice your back at you one of your favorite test locations.
Love my Mavic 2 zoom, being able to zoom in on your subject or objects without getting too close is amazing! Also the image quality coming out of it is amazing! To me if you don’t do a lot of night flying the zoom is the way to go and you save $250 as well it’s a no brainer for me at least.

4X It's really good, because this is not exactly digital zoom (which usually means - make pixels bigger), but cropping inside of the sensor, so it's still lossless in 1080p (just like what parrot do). And I think this is much bigger advantage that the 1 inch sensor, for most of the people. I believe the true advantage of pro is the 10 bits video, but this is not because of the bigger sensor anyway.

Hi guys, like the comparison but for me the biggest comparison I would like to see is between the Mavic pro 2 vs Inspire 2 or Phantom for quality and for flying. Im looking at purchasing a new drone and before the new Mavics come out, I was seriously considering the Mavic Pro but I wasn't overall happy, cause I wanted the same or similar quality of video as the Inspire 2 put out or even the Phantom, so yeah,that would be great to see.

Did you hear there's a problem with the mechanical aperture on the MAVIC 2 PRO
The higher aperture makes pictures fuzzy...
They say it's recommended to leave it at 2.8 so there goes that advantage...

Hey, I'm wondering if the footage of the Pro could be made that sharp in Post, Like the footage from the Zoom is right out of the camera? In my opinion, the smooth Pro footage doesn't Look more cinematic, it Looks less sharp... Hope you can answer and Show me that ;) thanks for the Video!

How do you get the video so smooth?
Billy, you are under playing the potential of compresses background you can only get with a 2 million dollar helicopter, a 100.000 camera, a 600 dollar an hour pilot, a 1,000 an hour photographer hanging outside inches under the blades, and the 20,000 dollar a day insurance policy plus all the local greasing if local unions. All that can be done away with with the Mavic 2 Zoom.
I 100% guarantee you any PP you can do to add color to your Pro images I can do to my Zoom images but I cannot PP background compression.
Did you do any color correcting? The Zoom looking more contrasty

*DJI, create shame and make your products without depending on the customer's smartphone, make a control with a prewiu screen and do not use what you did not pay to complete the operation of your drones!!!*

I switched from P3Pro to Zoom , and saved $250 and I think MP2 Is Overpriced .

Big mistake is buying a dji M2P drone that comes with a STUPID and never intelligent battery. These batteries gets pregnant after 9 months of purchase (Battery swells) causing the battery to be ejected from the drone during flight, ending in a crash. dji are so devilish by indicating in their policy that batteries are covered for 6 months only, because they know that at 9 month these batteries are giving birth. And the biggest mistake I did was buying the fly more kit and an additional battery to make it 4 batteries in total. All of the batteries now are swelled up. Mind you that I take good care of my stuff, for the batteries, I always discharge them to 40% if I'm not planing to use for more than 10 days, fully charge and discharge on a regular bases and always stored in a cool place between 15 to 25 degrees in a secure sealed hard case by Nanuk.
Called dji for replacement, they rejected my request although I have bought the care refresh and the Select member which was never used once…!
