    Over the past 7 months I’ve watched hundreds of hours of Fisker Ocean videos on RUclips. You, and your Ocean videos are outstanding!!!
    I own an Ultra and agree with everything you say…. Looking forward to camping 🏕️ in my Ocean this July and August in the Adirondacks in New York!

We'll keep her out of the video, but may share a portion of that experience for fun. We were thinking of going on a road trip soon, for the purpose of going all the way to the edge of the battery limits.. 😬 I know it's been done before, but wanted to try it out for "stressful fun", possibly. 🫣 I'm so glad you're still enjoying the Ocean View. 🌊

    My Ultra was delivered Saturday morning… It’s literally outstanding videos such as yours that gives me so much more confidence that I made the right decision!! I reserved 2/22, ordered 8/22. I also own shares in Fisker. I test drove a Tesla Model Y recently, and rented a Model 3 two months ago in Florida. Fisker is a better built car. Absolutely!

      I am receiving my fisker and a few days and home some questions. Does the regen come on every time you start the car? Or you can permanently set it?

    What a fantastic and informative video. I would like to thank you for taking the time to make not one but both videos.
    I agree with your entire presentation. It was nice to learn so many new things!

    I have hated to see so many people bash such a great vehicle. Social media has destroyed this company that has made business mistakes and blown them way out of proportion.
    There are many happy owners whose experiences have been dampened by social media bashing and not by the car itself.

      @johnemden7682, I couldn't agree more with you. It's definitely an unnecessary cloud of negativity reigning in. Constantly.
      The most surprising thing is, often, how angry these folks are. 🤷🏻‍♀️ At the end of the day, it is a fabulous car, but it is, just...a car. Not a personal attack on anyone. Or a religion. Or a political view. Or lifestyle. Just a selection of a car, whose startup company is having struggles, like anyone else. Demonizing not necessary.
      Happy Ocean Owners and Reservation Holders are everywhere. ☝🏻 Don't be dismayed.
      I started this channel to have light hearted talks about tangible aspects of this car that I appreciate so much that could be discussed or pointed out. (I did read the manual). 🙌🏻💫 And still learning!
      I'm not trying to pretend it's a perfect car, but it sure is perfect for what I was looking for. Absolutely, unequivocally happy with this car.
      If anyone were to have questions, I'm sure as a group, we can find answers together. Or perhaps there's something someone knows that others don't? I'm open to it all.

    I've owned an Ultra for over two months now and love it, despite all the known minor glitches that I can live with. Agree with everything you said, and also acknowledging some (early) owners having serious issues not being properly serviced by Fisker due to bad management and poor planning. Thanks for sharing, and we need more honest videos like yours.

      It all depends.
      If Fisker survives, the normal price for a new Fisker Ocean Extreme will probably get back to $60000+ making a used sell for $50000 including those just bought for $40000.
      If Fisker doesn't survive then there will be no new Oceans. Only 10000 made. Now we'll look at Delorean and Karma to get a gauge of their price.
      Check the price for a 2012 Karma vs a 2012 Tesla model S. The Karma is worth twice the price of the model S.
      I'll still say the possibility for a win win for the owners is very much there. Just don't sell the car right away. Have patience and it will be all good.

      @@snorrekofod-ht5er A used Fisher will never be worth $50K. For many reasons including advancing tech. Essentially an EV is not unlike a smart phone. Few want old tech.

    I am like you. I love my Ocean One so much, I just purchased an Extreme at what I consider an excellent price point. Please keep making these honest and thoughtful videos. I find your insights to be spot on. I plan to CONTINUE to drive my Fisker Ocean One and my new Ocean Extreme once it is delivered. Thank you again.

      @jacksoft2597, absolutely, my Regen is working as well. I hope it didn't seem like I was saying it didn't currently work. 😵‍💫
      I wanted to address questions folks had about anything that had been assumed not to be working at some point, and why, those hiccups may have happened. Update 2.0 fixed those error messages, which is all it was for me, anyway. 😀
      Also, very good point you made. The newer cars being bought and especially Extremes, might have never encountered any of these things I talk about. Everything was fixed by then. 😀

    Good video. I have an Ultra and we have had issues due to a faulty upgrade to 2.0. Lost power twice on the freeway. 3 weeks later we finally got a service person to fix the software. So far so good, but my wife is a bit freaked out.

      @davidmerwin7763, I'm sorry to hear about the faulty upgrade. That does not sound like a great experience. I'm glad you were serviced and everything is working as should be. I can understand how it might be a scary event for anyone to feel ready to drive or even sit as a passenger again within.
      I hope that everything settles in a positive place, for Fisker, so they can tend to all that,(I believe), they would like to do, service-wise. Shift their focus from surviving, to providing ample customer service. It's my belief that everyone may be wearing "too many hats" and not have enough hours, arms or supplies. Tending to a fire and finding it difficult to man the boat, possibly. I'm glad that you didn't take it personally, even though you are an owner and wouldn't be in the wrong to feel, more than upset. 🧏🏻‍♀️And if you were, at least I'm very appreciative you sure aren't lashing out at me.🙌🏻
      I've seen folks who aren't owners or investors, who are plenty upset. (Not sure what reason).

      Thanks for your reply. I understand that many Ocean owners are having great experiences and I am happy for them.
      I was a bit naive to think that Fisker would release a new car that was ready to go. My wife and I are comparing our Fisker to a 2023 Nissan Leaf that we bought in December of 2022. That car has been great! No issues at all.
      I just thought Henrik had learned his lesson from the Karma debacle, but I guess he didn’t.
      I hope our car doesn’t have any more issues and lasts a long time, I don’t see any other good options! And I like the car! It is fun to drive!

    I am confident that Henrik will ensure the remaining (key) software updates will be rolled out soon (v3 and v4).
    At least ACC
    This will ensure his original design (and legacy) for the FO proves his detractors wrong.
    As for all the social media hyenas out there, it is sadly their nature to promote hate rather than positive vibes in life -sorry to the real hyenas who shouldn't be compared to these depraved animals.

      @gilbertnau6002, it's incredibly quiet. I wish it had translated through to the video, but this was filmed on my camera phone on a whim. I was filming and shifting around, and that's noise interference you hear.

    Wait...The door buttons light up??? Mine dont. My touch buttons for the headlights and doors do not light up. I have to figure them out in the dark. I have the Ocean One.
    Correction: I double checked and they were back lit.

      ​I double checked last night and mine were on. I think there were some interior light adjustments with 2.0. Autolights turn on.with start up and the backlighting on the buttons are now on. I hadn't noticed before.

      Yes it does. But not all available chargers. I think that part of the navigation system could be improved a bit.

      Do you have a level 2 charger installed at home or do you need to use public chargers?
      I recommend installing a handful of the apps for public charging stations in your neighborhood.
      Make sure you create an account and upload your payment information.
      This way you'll be ready as soon as you arrive at the charging station.
      Some charging stations allow for payment with credit card, however this if often at a higher price than if you have an account.
      If possible a charger at home is the way to go. It will always be cheaper. If also recommend that you get a portable charger. It should fit nicely under the front part of the floor in the trunk.
      It could come in handy if visiting family, hotels and so on.
      Make sure to change the max amperage to 32A in the charging settings on the main screen.
      If you charge the car to 100% before a long trip, try to plan it so that it finishes charging just before your planned departure.
      Normally it shouldn't be necessary to charge higher than 80%.
      In the settings on the map, under planning, you can set the desired state of charge for both arrival at destination and charging stops.
      On fast chargers, you see the highest charging speed while your battery is low.
      I gladly take it down between 5%-10% when arriving at a charger.
      You'll see the biggest drop in charging speed when passing 80%, so there is normally no need to go past that if you are in a hurry.
      You get around 3 miles per 1%, just so you have an idea of how far you can go, if you get to a charging station that is full and you don't want to wait. I normally just drive on to the next when this happens.
      Many charging stations, will apply an idle fee a few minutes after your charging session has finished, so pay attention so you can move the car, and avoid any unnecessary cost.

      @snorrekofod-ht5er I don't do gomw charging just yet. Still lives in an apartment, but down the street, there is a charger. I bought an adapter so I can do fast charging at tesla. I work 5 miles away. 15 to 20 miles a day. I did this because I am getting a home in a couple of months. I'll see how this works. I will only charge to 80 percent. Also will talk to my apartment manager and see if the will install one

    Mobile service is contracted out and the warranty claims are owned by MAGNA

      Check again. According to their manufacturing contract. (Source 8K) The clause is that Magna has no claim liability to the end consumer.....only to Fisker. Fisker in turn bears the burden of liability to the end consumer.

      It's a shame too, because the ride is incredibly quiet and that doesn't quite translate here, either. 😑
