    I originally planned to ride the "standard" trails at Glentress to try and stay reasonably dry, but James, Jack and Brian said that they had a good off piste loop planned out.
    Who was I to turn down joining them, sampling some of the best Glentress has to offer.

    Now that's got me wanting to return and explore GT again. Nice one mate, and trails looked better than I expected. I've also been running the racing line compound with cushcores for a while..100kg in kit and running almost identical pressures. Unfortunately the rears do not last long at all, but I suppose that's the trade-off, with the softer stickier compound and running lower pressure, too. Anyway, thanks for getting me motivated to get out in the cold slop again!

    Would love to know how the claymore compares to the stumpjumper evo. Currently riding an SJ evo been looking at the claymore as a second "bigger" bike.

    • @McTrailRider
      @McTrailRider  10 месяцев назад

      I couldn’t tell you tbh, I have ridden the Stumpy for very long.
      I’d assume that the Claymore can hold better speed through the chunky stuff, due to the high pivot. It also has better stand over height, with more insertion length for the dropper post.
      It’s also more expensive though, depending on the build of course.
