There was another misplay, the opponent played Develop your brain, he should have put one in hand one at the bottom, instead he put one on top of deck and one at the bottom. This could change the outcome

Great video, and gameplay! I do have a suggestion I would like. I haven't found anybody doing something like this. Why don't you make a series where you pick E/S for example and do like 5-10 mulligan examples against current meta decks, while explaining your thought process and giving advice about problematic cards in the match-up and possible tech cards for that specific match-up. Play patterns too ofc. It's the sort of analytical content missing on youtube that is worth its weigth in gold.

Also: at 4.34 your opponent crushed a medusa into a beast with resist 1 (coghsworth) and you banished it.
That's one of the reasons why i think pixelborn wasn't completely a good thing.
Now without all the "shiny" effects on the cards, people will missplay a lot in person.
i won the exact same way in the same matchup some days ago in my local game shop. Thanks for the good memory lol. Ruby/Sapphire is a nigthmare matchup in my opinion for Sapphire/Steel. I was so proud of me, hand happy with my luck ^^.

While I love the idea for webcam matches I think it would be REALLY cool if you had added some commentary over your matches and talked through you and your opponent’s general strategy/gameplan lines. Throw some more chill low beat music on it and I think something like this could be PERFECT.

No, you are not allowed to off One Jump. I don’t he was consciously doing it if he even did.

Quantum how do you feel about this matchup is blue steel favored or is it pretty much even? What do I you prioritize as the blue steel player?
A good Sapphire Steel can win this most of the time. The important thing in this match up is ramping faster than your opponent. I feel the match up has improved for Steel because of Fortisphere, another 1 cost draw item that helps increase consistency and Tamatoa’s lore gain.

the ruby saphire player should learn to draw first befor playing cards. he made alot of small mistakes like this.
