Is Maddie from Dance Moms
I feel like she saved her own life when she walked away from Dance Moms. She's been reborn. She's so peaceful and happy now. She has a powerful vibe now that screams, "you can't have me Hollywood!"
Seriously though, there is so much power radiating through her now. She's very aware and respected now. No longer vulnerable and sexually exploited. She knows her worth and she is empowering other young girls! When I see this, I smile! but I often think of Judy Garland from wizard of Oz and those who never got a chance to live a normal life and rise above the sexualization and abuse. .

I'm sad that she basically retired from her dancing. She was extremely skilled and amazing to watch but it's not her passion so oh well

I think her passion was dancing until her mother and other people beat into her head she was such a star. Just something is different seeing her on the dance floor versus a arena she doesnt have that amazing special voice

A more likely possibility is natural inheritance plus work. Her Father is a world class Bodybuilder and it seems epigenetics are inherited.

I didnt like the way her mom treated her on "Raising Asia" about practicing . I personally am glad she is relaxing a bit on that.

MieKayla Singleton what is wrong with her attitude? Never once had she said one negative thing about anyone. Always positive and extremely confident. She still is a sweet kid judging by her RUclips channel and has definitely matured as well as blossomed. People were just quick to put her down because she was never an “original” member of the team. The only time she has ever “acted out” would be from the show Raising Asia but that was definitely because of the pressure her parents put on her. She doesn’t have a bad attitude. If we are going to go off of small moments from a tv show then all of the girls from the show technically have bad attitudes. I have seen all the girls cry, most of them have gotten upset because one got something that the other did not. We see the girls constantly yelling at their mothers or dance teachers and even moments of instigating problems with other members of the team so why is it just Asia’s attitude that’s considered bad? People can hate her all they want but as far as I’m concerned, they need to start looking for other excuse especially if they idolized every other member of the team regardless of what they did or how they acted. Asia acted no different than any of the children from that show.
Jasmine Johnson I'm not talking about the Dance Moms show. I'm talking about Raising Asia. No, she never acted out in Dance Moms, but she did in Raising Asia. I'm not denying her talented because I think she's amazing and she's talented. But, I think that she needs to watch how she talks to her parents. She said some things that kind of turned me off.

On her reality tv show it shows they wanted to make her a mega star instead of a kid star shes extremely talented if they kept her in her lane she would’ve been so far probably a couple of Disney movies of her own etc but they put her in the industry of adults n now she only have cameos In older movies. She could’ve been much farther in her own lane
I honestly think that Asia was one of the best dancers to ever be on dance moms. Her expressions and stage presence were unrivalled. She had such a talent for flexibility. When Asia was performing, you watched.

Honestly, I think Asia was too good for Dance Moms long term. She was clearly the most entertaining to watch. She is a true performer and will do well - even if she doesn't dance much anymore.

Yeah I agree she made the rest of the dancers like when her and Mackenzie were doing the duet for the song we hit harder (I don’t remember the name of the dance but it was from an early season I guess) I mean Melissa even said it herself she was worried that Asia’s was going to out dance Mackenzie and she did and will continue to do. Asia has so much talent all around and especially at the age she is at now if she keeps it up she’s gonna be huge in the future.

Rissa Not really, maddie was spotted by Sia and got where she is now because of Dance moms , Jojo became famous (eventhough she’s incredibly annoying and fake etc) because of dance moms. And honestly 80% of people who know Asia wouldn’t even have heard of her if she didn’t appear on Dance moms .. It is scripted and all drama etc but that kind of shows is (sadly) one of the most effective way of making people ‘popular’ .
When I first saw her on dance moms, I knew that girl was going places. She had it all at such a young age. Amazing talent!!! Keep going!!
No, I wish her parents could have given her a little space and let her be a child. She is drop dead gorgeous and extremely talented. I just wonder if kids in these situations wouldn’t have turned into happier and more well rounded adults if they hadn’t been pushed so hard. Because although she’s amazing, it’s hard to believe that at 4 or 6 or 10 she made these decisions to work like a dog. I get the whole thing of wanting our kids to be the best but at some point they need to be kids. Take Michael Jackson for example, AMAZINGLY talented! But was he happy and well rounded? My heart breaks for him and children like him or Asia. Love, encourage your kids, give them the training if they show a special talent, but this? I think is abusive, it doesn’t appear like she had a choice. And you can bet, Mom and are benefiting.

What got me was how she always referred to it as her career. Like you're 6 or something. It's a hobby at this stage, not your life's work. Career implies the need to have a job and earn money and it's a big decision to do something else if you are no longer enjoying it- when you're a tween that should not be a concern .

This creature is the definition of Fierce! The raw talent and flow she has in being out there is EXTREMELY motivating and powerful. She is pure energy, I love her. I am 31 and look up to her "not giving a dang"-ness
Asia was my all time favourite on Dance Moms and she kept turning my eyes and captivating my attention. She radiated so much confidence and energy at such a young age that she truly was a child prodige.
I think in Asia's head she was born to be the next Beyonce. I think she has probably thought that since she was literally like 2 years old. Only time will tell!! I think she has the work ethic ferocity of the likes of Laurieann Gibson and she isn't about to burn out anytime soon ;)

Actually he didnt " throw " on the floor on purpose, she knew why he had did it. He was doing what the backup dancers were supposed to do because she wasnt landing right. If you seen the episode on " Raising Aisa ", you would clearly see the fact that she slipped when her heels touched the floor.
@Tony Hancock Thanks for the name compliment and im actually 14 as of july 13. I used to be a dancer but I did majorette and cheer, she has the skills of a majorette dancer and a cheerleader. Majorette dancers do alot of the same things as she did with her dancing. So yeah i knew what I was talking about.

Abby praised Asia. She tried to get Mackenzie to adopt some of her stage presence. But she wanted to teach her how to be a group dancer in all dance styles, not just a jazz funk soloist. And her mother couldn't handle her not being the star or falling short.

It drives me crazy when people hate her for her inappropiate solos and completely ignore how amazing dancer she is. She was like seven, it's not like she chose to dance inappropiately. If she said that she doesn't want to dance that solo you people would call her a brat. It's not like dancers can choose what they dance at all, she got the choreo and her job was to dance it as great as she can.

No one is hating her for calling out the inappropriate moves and dances and costumes. That's is ridiculous to say that people are hating her. And if child dancers can't decide whether or not to dance like a stripper without being called a brat, then the teachers and adults in her life should be held accountable for the abuse and exploitation of a minor. Please spare us the excuses, no child should ever be dancing like that at that age. She is obviously very talented, and beautiful, but the sexual and suggestive dances detract from her talent.
imissnj2, facts! I don't blame the child. She is obviously gifted, but she is still a child and unable to determine if something is inappropriate. That's why you have parents to guide, direct, and protect.

I don’t think she should’ve stayed permanently on dancemoms but maybe should’ve stayed maybe a whole season to build a bigger publicity. Look at Kalani and JoJo. They stayed for a couple seasons (not too long) and have gained MILLIONS of followers just by the show and Asia has had only 1.4 million followers for over a year 😢
She is more concerned with industry success than followers. She's always wanted to do more than dance, & she's been working on being triple threat a long time. Dance was just the first thing that got her national attention but she loves all 3.

She missed out on being a kid. Her mom managed her life every moment and put her in adult situations when she was too young.. She is a beautiful talented girl. Hopefully she is doing what she wants now.

Its her own life to live how she wants to, obviously, but i do think its a shame she didnt keep up with dancing as much as she had such an incredible talent there...she was a born dancer, although she is an outstanding singer aswell though! Looking at her from AUDC she also would have made an outstanding gymnast!
Julie Windsor Asia actually started as a gymnast. That's what she was doing before dance.
Asia has a big talent and she works hard. But... the majority of dances was totally unapropriate for a little girl and I think it could be complicated for the mental construction and for a future life. By the way, I wish her the best.

Abby did not start that. Asia was performing long before she showed up on Abby's Ultimate Dance Competition and then Dance Moms.
In fact, if she watch her show that aired after Dance Moms, you see her parents not only support those types of dances, but actively encourage it.

I think if she had continued in Dance Moms, she would be much more famous and recognized today ... She was the best dancer even better than Maddie, she won every 1st place. She left dance moms to become a star and even with all the efforts today she is the least recognized of all the girls, even Jojo who came in right after her ... And now she stopped dancing 😢

Beatriz Machado almost all the girls have stopped dancing, which I think is very telling of what atmosphere they were put in because most of the girls (especially those who were brought in from other studios) were amazingly talented.
Honestly, I think you're right! If she would've stayed on dance moms she would've been so much more popular just because of the platform that the show gave the girls...but then again, had she stayed on dance moms she might not have gotten the training and been able to focus on areas outside of dance. So overall I think everything happens for a reason, but she was definitely one of my faves on the show

This child is amazing!! She is the best dancer from dance moms hands down. Very versatile in her dancing, she can do it all. But this kid didnt get the right recognition and we all know why!!!

A few weeks ago I searched for videos of Asia dancing but couldn't find any because I didn't know her name. Tonight I was watching the movie Tall Girl which led me to Dance Mom videos and found her. I think that what she is doing is great. I think she is a great vocalist and likely would not have been able to strengthen that craft if she had stayed on dance moms. She is now a triple threat and that very good for her career in the entertainment industry. Way To Go Asia!
I’m sad and disappointed 😔 I was hoping she would reach her dream and become the next Beyoncé 🥺 I miss her dancing. And her manager billy was right everyone was sure she was a diva even Asia her self thought so but now we can see this incredible women she grow into nut if I was her I would stick with her diva dance. Cause then she was more known but I’m impressed with her voice I have been watching her turn into this young adult from being sexualized to this amazing actress and singer I’m pretty sure by the time she turned 10 everyone knew she would eventually give up dance to become an actress/singer/song writer

Asia had to be my favorite. For such a little girl she put the capital T in Talent. Maddie was stuck on Maddie. Put those two together Asia was amazing and today, she has followed her dreams. Asia,Nia,Chloe Kendall were my favorite top four. Congratulations Asia you were a cutie as can be and, today you are Beautiful!

She amazed me from the first time I saw her on that dance competition with Abbie Miller when she was only 6 years old. Her mother and father, ehhh, control freaks, esp the mom. No matter what she chooses to do in her life, she will succeed. She is a dynamic personality!

I think Asia was a born star from the very first moment everyone saw her, dance moms was great to showcase her natural talent ability and give her the exposure she needed. It also taught her if she could cope with the criticism of Abby she could cope with some that would come from auditions in her future, and make her the strong young women she is, I also believe she had a wonderful caring nurturing mum, who wasn’t a pushy stage mum, she knew she never had to push Asia, Asia was a natural and loved what she did you could see that on stage. It’s so great to see her go one and pursue her dreams as she is a hard worker and gives it her all and some, great role model for young girls well done Asia
With all that talent my question is why isn’t she mainstream now. Why don’t we all see her now ? She’s soooo talented. Triple threat 🙏🏽😊💖. Thanks for sharing.
