📌 Thank you so much for the comments about adjusting the sternum strap. Turns out YOU CAN adjust it, making this backpack even more comfortable. I deleted that Con out this video and am upgrading my rating of this bag to a 8/10 as its more comfortable with that being adjusted. Thanks again everyone.
I am sure it’s a fine backpack but it’s made in Mexico and they charge like it made in the US. There are many US made options that are just as good, Zpacks, Light AF, ULA, Pilgrim etc I know many people don’t care but I do. No load lifters is a deal breaker.
The sternum strap can be adjusted to any spot on the webbing up and down the shoulder strap by unthreading it through the hardware and then repositioning.
I have the Windrider in black. While it hasn't seen thru-hiker mileage usage, it's never failed me. It's been thrown around during rock scrambles, held up with backcountry bushwhacking, and has even been perfect for overnights. After running through a couple of packs, this has been my go-to. Anyone looking to pick one up, but the price tag is too high, I'd recommend opting for the REI credit card and using the rewards points at the end of the year. That's how I ended up with my bag. Great video. Thank you for the review.
Thanks for the comment Stefanie! Good tip with REI. Agreed with the multifunctionalness (is that a word?) of the bag. It really can be used for anything it seems.
@@jasonrobertbates man I wish. My pack definitely can’t do that. There’s no way for me to remove it off the daisy chain unless I rip the stitching. Am I missing something?
I dont understand the hype aorund this backpack, there are lighter or cheaper alternatives. Bags like Zpacks arc blast, Montbell Versalite Pack 40, Liteway Elementum Pack X-Pac 50L, Zpacks Super Nero Ultra 50L, Atom The Pulse EP40 etc... Why would you choose this bag if there are lighter and sometimes cheaper alternatives with similar design and sometimes more features?
@@majkoce I suppose you don’t have much of choice when a friend gives it to you as a gift. But real talk, it's probably due to the marketing of the brand.

You can relocate the sternum strap and position it to your needs.

Jason you are right... i definitely thought it was just stitched in there for some reason. Thank so much!
HMG sells replacement sternum straps, so you should be able to unthread the buckle and move it lower down the daisy chain.
Turns out you can! They just unthread out of there. Definitely thought it was stitched in there. Thank you!
I LOVE my ULA Circuit. Great bag that is the most popular bag according to surveys on the PCT.
Agreed. Those surveys were exactly why I got it too haha.
