Having Adam being the down to earth guy, in addition to Tomar, seems to make Chris and Zach try even harder to be unhinged.
Chris and Zach becoming literal chaotic goblins is def one of my favorite Oneyplays Arcs. Even Cory seems relaxed when around those two.

This is one of the most unhinged episodes they’ve done. Absolutely fantastic
The DK Rap started playing, but something was off about it. The lyrics were all jumbled, and their eyes were glitching up. But I just shrugged it off and pressed start, ready to relive some of my childhood memories. I looked past the DK Rap. I said "time to play my favorite game!" I started a new file up, and usually when Donkey Kong sees a banana he says "OH. BA-NA-NA." but he did not this time. He said, "EUGCHHHH! BANANA!" It sounded like a little boy screaming, I couldn't quite make it out. That's when I turned around and saw my mom in red face paint

Can't believe a blue beaver created one of the funniest jumpscares i've ever seen
This reminds me of the time I met Tomar at comic con after the smiling friends Q&A panel. Extremely nice guy, I told him I was an aspiring voice actor and he really gave me some solid advice. although he would occasionally slip in the fact that he really just wanted to “ape out” and eventual proceeded to attack a young man working at the venue, screaming like a banshee and clawing at his face. The screams of that man calling for help still ring in my ears to this day. Every night when I close my eyes to sleep I can still see the man’s face reduced to a red paste. Overall his advice for becoming a voice actor has really motivated me and I hope to cross paths with him again someday

That's crazy. I had a similar experience. He was writing me an autograph when suddenly he dropped the pen and paper and screeched "ohhhh banana" with confused expression. He then proceeded to grab my pecker with so much force that it was immediately ground into a froth in his hands.
This happened to my buddy Eric. I still miss him to this day.

I remember the GTA Remastered trilogy being the most recent one I was excited about the first episode of and by the third or fourth one I was kinda bored. Meanwhile, all of the sonic series featuring Corey have been entertaining as fuck through and through

The evil leader sitting in the chair with his face out of view while he pets his pet is a Bond reference. You don't see Blofeld's face until later in the Sean Connery series.

It ended right after it began. Which is one of the greatest tragedies of this channel’s history, imo. Only because this is one of my all-time favorite games, and I’ve been waiting years for them to play it.

These episodes with Adam P were so good. Even if he doesn’t come back as often, it was a real treat to have him when they did, since this one and the SMB2 video were both home runs, some peak OneyPlays content
Nah, this game is legit one of the best platformers of our time. I replay it once every couple years and love it each time

I got DK64 for Christmas, so it feels fitting for me for Oneyplays to play this in December.
The King K. Rule intro is a reference to James Bond's, Ernst Stavro Blofeld, the Mastermind of S.P.E.C.T.R.E. (Special Executive for Counter-intelligence, Terrorism, Revenge and Extortion) who is the primary (although hidden) antagonist of a half dozen films. Dr. Claw and his organization M.A.D. are based off of this James Bonds over arching villian.

The villain where you only see their hand stroking their pet cat was a trope for older Bond films like From Russia with Love and Thunderball. You finally see Blofeld's face in You Only Live Twice.

It's unfortunate Cory takes half an hour or so to tell a story, but all these crazy characters like Spongebob, Sonic and friends, etc, keep barging into their recording room to interrupt his stories.

This has that same chaotic energy as the super mario playthrough with Cory. Hope they play a bit more of this. This game can be a slog to get through though so I would not blame them for stopping.

Really enthralling monkey footage in the cold open. I was worried for a moment that this was going to be a 30 min video of them dubbing over monkey footage, pretending to be playing DK64.
