Coach - thanks for your videos. Question: In these drills you seem to teach a jumpstop into the downscreen. In your other videos (and other versions of this style offense) we often see a simple butt cut off a rub cut (not a proper down screen). Which do you teach? Has your thinking changed over the years on this?
A butt cut is when the weak side wing cuts off the butt of the down screener into the paint… an L-cut is when the weak side wing cuts in an L shape to the top of the key This resource has everything you would want to know: coachhack-go.sellfy.store/p/tennessee-the-5-out-circle-motion-offense/

Trying to learn this offense for my high school team…
Coach do you have the entire series on this offense in a playlist?
Coach I’m not sure what you mean. Email me - matth@hackenberg.biz
Everything you have on RUclips on the Circle offense, is it listed under your page in a playlist of all the videos concerning the offense?
@@rocoop21able Yes, everything related to circle motion is in that playlist
Hey Coach! How are the line rotations supposed to work to keep things flowing?
I honestly don’t recall… we did it enough the players kept the lines full

I believe its a butt cut for first player and then more of a jump stop for 2nd guy making the cut to top of 3.
What is the butt cutter? Is the L cutter the first one cutting off of the screen?

Should it be drilled to both sides? OR IS THAT NOT HELPFUL?
Doesn’t hurt… I would flip flop it from day to day, not within the same practice sessions
