I liked this stitch very very much. Thanx. There are some patterns which don't need / suit shaded yarn. One colour gives more get up and helps to show the new pattern clearly and easily.
Such a pretty stitch, I'll be adding it to my must do list lol. What always amazes me is so many of your stitches, I've never seen, but I'm very happy to learn & use them ! Thank you
Lovely stitch. Could you sometimes use chunky or bulky yarn? I’m legally blind and I have arthritis in my hands . I can’t use small hooks and yarn. Thank you
Try using bulky yarn and change hook size to suit the yarn. Your project will come out bigger but that isn't always a problem if your making a blanket. Stuffed toys and clothes might be a problem but I'd try whatever pattern you fancy. You can always frog it out if it doesn't suit.
@@suzannelaing2968 mu daughter asked what i wanted for christmas n i said yarn..she got me like 10 of them n was floored they are so expensive..i love keeping my hands busy while i watch tv

Which this pattern....how long make first chain for baby blanket
Hi thanks for sharing this beautiful pattern, love it
Most baby blankets are 3 or 4 feet wide on each side unless you want to make it bigger to be used in later years. Hope this helps!!

You might try searching YT for “crochet stitches using bulky yarn”, and see what you come up with.

I agree..it will be bogger but look the same..i do it all the time
Zalia, I have considered using DK on a pattern for a Bernat chunky fleece yarn that I probably can't afford.
