basically you can only put your chips to put the opposing side in between your chips. when you put their chip in between yours, you can change their color to your side
Your move must flip over an opponent's piece(s). You cannot play on a square where you are not able to flip over your opponent's pieces. If order to flip your opponent's piece(s), your piece should "sandwich, or 'trap' your opponent's pieces when played. The objective of the game is to get as many of your pieces flipped over. Basically at the end of game, if you have more of your pieces flipped over than your opponent, then you win. Having corner control is massive, and can give you an advantage, because you cannot capture pieces in the corner.
Hi Rick! I really like your implementation of the game! I am working on an Othello game myself and I was wondering how you animated the chips rotating. I tried checking your your website, but it is not online anymore. Can you show me how you did it? Thank you Rick!
