- Mandukya Upanishad is attached to the Atharvaveda, and it is the smallest of the 10 major Upanishads. However it deals with very significant concepts such as 4 quarters of Atman (self), the true nature of Atman and the role of Omkara in achieving it.

Such brief presentation of Mandukya is great as well as very unjust. Giving translation of key expressions is appreciated, but to do justice it may be appropriate to explain the meaning with reference to the grammatical structuring of the key expressions. If it takes more time, so be it. Finally must say Maithili is very good.I am an octogenarian, please accept my hearty congratulations for the good job you are doing,
