  • The chicken recipe that overtook Atlanta is coming for the rest of the United States. The popular style is called “lemon pepper wet,” where crispy fried wings get tossed with a bright, tart, peppery dry seasoning blend and draped with either clarified butter or buffalo sauce.

    Every wing spot here in ATL, from JR Crickets to American Deli, and everywhere in between, has their own way of making lemon pepper wings, and each is pretty flavorful when you tastes them. Send Adam Roof down here so he can 'observe' and 'experiment'😁 Great job Ashley, for doing Atlanta proud!

      Filter it, store it, and ultimately re-use it. Depending on what you’re cooking you can get a number of uses from it.

    • @sandrah7512
      @sandrah7512 Год назад

      ATK has posted several videos (Did you even try searching their channel?) on what to do with cooking oil from how to filter and clean it to how many times you can potentially reuse it as well as identifying a type of product that allows for it to be disposed of as compost when mixed together. Ultimately, proper disposal is going to vary from place to place depending on the capabilities of who manages waste disposal where you live. Some places are only able to handle cooking oil as regular waste - place it in a sealed container such as the bottle it came in and put it in the trash. Some may treat it as a special waste that may be picked up curbside (if you have curbside pickup) or taken to a transfer station/landfill. Or you may have a local restaurant with a waste cooking oil bin that will allow you to dispose of it there. With options such as the last two, the waste cooking oil has the potential to be recycled. But the ultimate responsibility is on you to determine the capabilities local to you and to keep up to date on any changes in those local capabilities as they may evolve and improve over time.

      When I lived in the Buffalo area if a place breaded their wings they won't be in business for long. Well, maybe the might of had a niche market, but most would say a breaded wing is not a real wing, it was just fried chicken when sauce on it. So, I would suggest trying them old school and go breadless. But you could do a test fry of 4-6 wings with the almond flour and see what happens.
