at first I thought you were drifting off to sleep at 9:00mins + but then san numerous animals crossing the road ( I'm awake now) glad you saw them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I grew up in New England, but I've always felt like I belonged out west. We may move to NM in a couple years and I've really been appreciating content like yours to get a better idea of all the less obvious things the state has to offer.
Sounds a lot like Glenn to be honest! 😅 From the little we've seen, NM is a beautiful state and one we need to explore more. Best of luck if you decide to make that move! 😊
Thanks for the video. New Mexico is great. Really looking forward to seeing your video on Catwalk. Unfortunately it was closed last time we were in the area so haven't been able to check it out.
Thanks for watching. It's funny... despite being just east, we never hit up New Mexico in our adventures. So much more to explore! Especially in the northern section. Shame about the Catwalk being closed. Perhaps next time. 😀
I lived in Arizona for 2 years. my fam and I really wanted to take a trip to NM, but Covid happened :( And I was in college, so we were unable to find the right time. My parents moved back to Cali, I'm in Seattle. Maybe one day
What a great road trip and to my favorite state, NM!! That is a very pretty drive at the start. Wow so much wildlife on the road at night, dangerous. That camp spot looks very nice and new but yikes on the price. Very cute and clean little casita for the night, Amy did a wonderful job finding it. Looking forward to your videos of NM and the Catwalk. I had fun when I was there back in March.
I'm tempted to revise our itinerary and head into NM while on our 8-day road trip in AZ in Sept - but I better not....lol. Maybe next time we'll add NM into the mix. Our last reservation for an over night will be in Show Low however. Looking forward to Part 2 - safe travels!
Haha! We understand that feeling well. There's so many times we eyeball something SO close but just out of reach on a trip - for instance, Big Bend National Park on this last trip. The drive back to Phoenix would have been miserably long! 😂
I would love to take part in a road trip like this! Your passing so many fascinating landscapes! By the way I absolutely love your channel name, fantastic!🤣🙌🏻
Ive heard such great things about the catwalk! It was closed last year when we were in the Gila- i loved your opening sequence very nice and such beautiful skies! Cute place to stay as well!!
Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed it. 😊 The Catwalk video will be out next week. Too bad about the closure but all the more reason to try again in the future. 👍
We've got some brief content from Silver City in our next episode from the road trip (Day 2)! And yeah... lots of animals decided to make their own highway that night. 😅
Rather hard to say, honestly. We're from the Phoenix area and this trip was our first and only one we've made into New Mexico so we aren't familiar with that portion. Snow is always possible in January in higher elevations but as with any weather event, they're hard to predict.
Your road trip looked nice 👍 can’t wait to see the Catwalk in your next video 😀
We're super excited about the videos coming out. Should be really good ones. 😄
Very promising video. Can’t wait to see all of the places visited and loved the music and scenery. Glenn fantastic job on this. Great style .
Glad you enjoyed it! Tune in next week for our first location video. We have lots more coming after too!

No kidding! Would have made a very unfortunate night for both animal and car. 😅
Just that sneak peek of the catwalks has me excited for the next video!
We're excited to share it! 😄

So much in New Mexico to see, we really can't wait to return. Thank you so much for watching. ☺️
Great tour!! And the sand dune sunset was insane. Thanks for putting this route on my radar!
Any time! 😄

Thank you so very much! We're about to continue and go to some even more unique landscapes in the next couple weeks if you're interested. 😄
Thank you

Great share my friend, success for your channel and stay connected💚💚👍from Indonesia
Thanks for visiting. 😄
Nice place and rodtrip
Thank you.
Those are my old stomping grounds. Born in Silver City. All those critters on the road were scary. Glad you were being careful.

I haven't seen a ponderosa in quite some time, but the next time I do I will sniff, sniff, and sniff some more.
They smell so good when you find one deep scent. I wish I could bottle it. 😅
Speaking of bottling, I bought some ponderosa essential oil on the internet, and it was awful.@@CactusAtlas
What would the road conditions be in early Jan for this trip? Will snow be an issue?

Guess campground prices are going up like everything else.
Must be! It was a really nice campground though so hopefully they're using the fees to keep it looking nice. 👍
@@CactusAtlas I never saw those above ground fire pits before, I like it.
