ABOUT DAYTONA BIKE WEEK
The 83rd Annual Daytona Beach Bike Week, one of best-known motorcycle rallies in the world, is March 1-10, 2024. Motorcycle enthusiasts are invited to enjoy spring riding in Daytona Beach for this 10-day rally - along historic Main Street to Midtown, Scenic A1A Highway and through the best of old Florida, the Ormond Beach Scenic Loop. The celebration continues at Daytona International Speedway, Teddy Morse's Daytona Harley-Davidson, and the U.S. 1 corridors and other locations throughout Volusia County.
ABOUT ST. AUGUSTINE, FLORIDA
Founded in 1565, St. Augustine is the oldest continuously occupied settlement of European and African-American origin in the United States. Forty-two years before the English colonized Jamestown and fifty-five years before the Pilgrims landed at Plymouth Rock, the Spanish established at St. Augustine this nation's first enduring settlement.
Some 2 million visitors annually make their way to St. Augustine, lured by the sense of discovering a unique historic part of America. While the venerable Castillo de San Marcos remains the traditional magnet for visitors, there are many other appealing historical sites and vistas.

If you ever go to Spain you’ll see the same style of castle in the Pyrenees mountains defending the flat lands from the Basque and French. Amazing buildings, thanks again for sharing the trip yet again ..
Amazing buildings and scenery to say the least! It was pretty dang cool hearing about all of the Spanish and European history in the area. Thanks for tuning in, Owen!
Alligators are fine, it's the grits you have to worry about ;-)
😂 🤘
My wife and I stayed in St. Augustine back in 2021 during Daytona Bike Week. We spent a little more than half our time there. We really liked it. It has become one of our favorite places, especially in Florida. In fact, we have already scheduled our next vacation back there.
Awesome!! We'd love to get back out there and spend more time in St. Augustine. It was such a unique area and the history is endless. Sounds like you two have some good times ahead 😎
Josh, editing just gets better and better.
Thanks David!! Having fun experimenting along the way!
that new red on the 2023 is bad ass.
Breathtaking!! The camera seemed to like to as well!
Setting the bench mark for Moto vlogging !! One of the best channels ever...!

My wife and I were at High Tides when you guys were there, I chatted with Lance for a few minutes (thanks for the sticker!). I was thrilled to run into a celebrity! 😄
It was great meeting you guys!! Hopefully the rest of your trip treated you well. We'll see you down the road😎🤝
2LL has been off my algorithm for a while. I can’t believe what a production show this has turned in to since the early days. You guys are awesome 😎
Glad to see ya back at it!! Thanks for the support! We've been workin' away and are always happy to hear you're diggin' the production🙌

Saint Augustine is great, you gotta check it out for Christmas, the whole city lights up, truly amazing!! Thanks for the ride.
It sure is! Thanks for the tip, maybe we'll make it out for Christmas one of these years 😎
You guys are the best. Love watching your channel. The rides, the road, the friendships you make, the history lessons from the different parts of America that you visit and or course the delicious food. You guys have the perfect formula for great content.
You're the man, Rich!!! Thanks for all of the support! We'll keep 'em coming 🙌
It’s cool to finally see you guys riding some familiar roads to me, the loop is pretty cool and Saint Augustine is one of my favorite places in FL. Nice going fellas!

It's so good to be able to enjoy this show. Thanks!
Thanks for the support, Dave!! Glad you're enjoying the show 🙌
Great show! How does Josh like the windsplitter? Does it actually do anything?
Your videos rock. There's a lot of work that goes into those videos behind the scenes. It doesn't go unnoticed.great work...
Thanks Hookdog!!! We appreciate your continued support!! Took it easy on this series and focused more on showing the good times than trying to do perfect edits. A nice change of pace for sure! See ya on the next one 🤘
@@2LaneLife It was the right decision. So nice to see the three of you at ease, enjoying this special time in Florida.

Live 15 miles north at the beach just outside Jacksonville. SA is a very touristy place but a great place to live. Ride down this way often. Great food. You should have gone to the Conch House. Maybe next time. 😁
Right on! Yes, we plan on making our way back there eventually. Great history, food, and views!
Hey just wanted to say this was awesome to see since we have been on this ride several times during Biketoberfest. It was really cool to see it on video made me feel like i was there. Just want to let Josh know that the music playlist was really setting the whole vibe with this one, so thank you and stay safe out there!
Glad to hear we could help you re-live some great experiences riding out on the Florida coast!! The music felt fitting on this one, thanks for the input! 🙌
Looked like a great time guy's 👊🏽😎

@@2LaneLife love the videos! Signed up for motorcycle classes here in Fresno next month. Hope to own my first Harley shortly after. Keep up the great work, helps getting new riders on the road🤘🏽🤙🏽
When I lived in Sebring that's where I would ride 2 ..love the views..Great place great food..b safe.peace
Good stuff!! Ride safe out there 👍
If you ever go back to Saint Augustine and you have time go to the alligator farm. You rode right by it on A1A at the South edge of town.
I drank the water at the fountain of youth some years ago it does not seem to be working.
😂😂😂😆😆😆😉😉😉
Ride safe.
We had planned to but ran short on time. Man..maybe shoulda drank some more 😂
Had to replay the hands and arms in the face thing at St. Augustine. Great to see you guys have fun. Better stand at arms length!
Haha we're gonna have to keep our distance from now on😂
Thanks for tuning in, Rick!!
Sure enjoy watching your content. Wish I was there with you fellers. WI in the winter is horrible!
Glad to hear you're enjoying the adventures! Thanks for the support, Les 👍
Glad you got to enjoy my hometown of St Auggie. If you come back with the wives you have to visit St George street, Flagler College, and ride SR-13.
St. Auggie was a great time to say the least! We didn't make as much time as we would've liked to do some more exploring out there but that just means we have a reason to make it back. We'll have to check all of that out the next time around. Thanks for watching!
Always look forward to your videos! Great series, keep em’ coming ✌🏼
Glad to hear it!! Thanks for tuning in, Gabe!!
You guys have been doing a great job. His videos are filled with good humor, celebration of friendship, good food, fantastic places, and of course, there are the bikes. Congratulations from Brazil 🇺🇸🇧🇷🇺🇸🇧🇷
Thank you for the kind words and support, Paulo!! We are glad that you are enjoying all of the videos and adventures along the way 🇺🇸 🤝🇧🇷
Grew up right off A1A a few blocks. Went from Riding on my dads bike with him to buyin my own at 16 and riding up n down that road n loop myself. To me its always my favorite to ride. Moved away a few yrs ago but riding the coast back home is my fav
Pretty dang cool! Thanks for sharing😎
Great video. Usually every two years I ride from Pahrump down to Key West, and spend a few days in Saint Augustine at my Brother-In-Laws house. Love Key West and Florida has great (but sometimes boring) beautiful rides. But riding over on 7 mile bridge to the Keys is one of my favorites. Thanks again for the content.
Right on!! It may be slow and straight, but there's definitely some things to see along the way. We rode down to Key West a couple days after this and got to see the 7 mile bridge and all that good stuff. Coming to your screen in a few weeks. Thanks for the support, Darwin!
Florida is Dark Side rear tire country. Just put on a car tire in the rear, cause there's hardly any corners to worry about.
😂 🤘
Nice review keep up the good work fellas
Thanks Marcus!
Ocean Deck, good bar/restaurant
Some good eats for sure!!
Great Video Y’all
Thanks Robert!!

Much love 2Lane!!!
Much love!! Thanks for the support👍
🏍️💨
🤘
Great video guys 👍 Although I live in Scotland I've ridden Route 66 and Pacific Coast Highway. Next on my bucket list is Daytona and Sturgis. Love the American biker lifestyle 🇺🇸
Thanks for watching! Nothing against Daytona, but we like Sturgis a lot more. Sounds like you've got some great trips ahead 👍
Florida is ok if you're riding along the coast or under the canopy trees on old Dixie highway but most of the riding you're basically on airport runways which is hot & boring.
That billiard blue looks damn good.
Definitely a cool look on the Road King!
Awesome. Really well done video… comment from my son who does short movies and teaches film…
Awesome!! Glad you guys enjoyed it. Thanks for tuning in, Don!
You have changed my view on bike week for sure. Thought it was just a hell yeah brother fest before. Definitely some cool looking scenery.
Somewhere in between haha. Still a good time with some cool stuff to check out in the area 👍
awsome😎great job
Thanks Scott!! 🤘
I wanna see the trashin boys do some wheelies on a stock bagger
Haha both wheels on the ground for the media bikes 😅
Another great video thanks for sharing it 🍺🤘🇺🇸

Thanks Jeff!! It makes a good snack, that's for sure!!😂🤘
Awesome Bike Week footage! 👍
Thanks RJ!!!
Crazy Good!!! Emphasis on the Crazy part🤣🤣
😂🤘
Great Video 🤘🐊
Thanks for tuning in, Jim! 🤘🐊
👍 😍 🤩 ✌
Thanks for watching, Marco!
Looked like a great time. Did you guys catch the daytona 200 or the baggers / Supercross when you were there.
It sure was! We caught the baggers qualifying round a day or 2 after which was pretty cool to see them ripping around the track
Not sure if you caught the info at the fort that Geronimo was held there for awhile until his release. There is a castle a few miles north of the fort. Check it out next time. Castle Otttis
Very interesting! After looking into it after the fact, we've come across some pretty dang cool history! We'd love to make it back there to see the Castle too 👍
😎👍🏼👍🏼
🤝
Did you see Dan Kite pinstripes at Daytona … we drove up to Ohio to bike show to get my street glide striped… cause missed the Daytona show…
We didn't but that sounds cool!!
I really like that full sleeve black 2LaneLife moisture wicking t-shirt with the American Flag wording. Just saying.
Thanks for the input! We haven't produced those for sale as they're a lot more expensive than regular T's, but maybe we'll do a limited run of them sometime down the line👍
Gotta hit the distillery in St Augustine next time….
That's the plan next time around!
😎👍👍
😎 🤝
Guys, what communication do you use in your helmets? My wife and I bought the modular HD helmets with the blue tooth built in. It absolutely sucks. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Ride safe and great video.
We use Cardo PackTalk Edge devices. We've tried pretty much everything under the sun and these are by far our favorite. Very user friendly, easy to pair, all voice-controlled (hands-free) and siri compatible, and simply start talking to chat versus having to press a button. It automatically dims your music to hear other riders dialogue and the sensitivity and other settings can be adjusted in the app. Hope that helps!
I'll link it below, just type in "2lanelife" at checkout for a discount. We use the "Edge" model, but they have a handful of other options available with varying levels of features

Lance: "The coastline looks very European"... what constitutes a European coastline, wonders every European😆😂
hahahaha we were wondering the same thing 😂
Mostly the period architecture of St. Augustine which has remained relatively unchanged over the years. Makes sense if ya don't think about it 😂
Is that reckless and his old lady popping the wheelie in the beginning?
Sounds like it was a crew that came down from Canada👍
You should have gone to the fountain of youth. Worst tasting water ever. Very high sulfur content. I was sick for 3 days. It worked though. I will be 75 Friday.
We wish we had made more time to check out more of the town! We heard from a few people that their local beers have an interesting taste because of the water as well, but we didn't get to try it this time around. Glad it worked for ya!
Thanks for tuning in
Tie their hands, and they can't talk
Great content and excellent edit, as always! Which equipment was used between 6:07 - 6:15 mark ? ruclips.net/video/lNqbk_ati0U/видео.html
Thanks Jay!! Most of our riding shots are filmed on a dji osmo pocket, including those
@@2LaneLife thanks. how do you have it attached to the handlebar ?
Is there really a oldest city of America? French landed in what we now call Quebec, Montreal. Italians landed on Plymouth Mass. Spanish, minorcans landed in Saint augustine, Florida. What these 3 landings have in common is they arrived in the continent of north america. They shared their farming and building techniques with the locals (Indians). As well as they did. July 1776 the signing of the Declaration Of Independence by 13 colonies is the birth of United States Of America. A coin phrase such as shaky town, California, windy city, Chicago, Empire state, ny,ny oldest city, St. Augustine signed letter by a president is nothing but a tourist mob scam. After you have done your research remember the French saved our ass. Saint Augustine harbored the British, and were not a 13 colony. Nice job two lane life on Daytona Bike Week. Next time your with your families injoying a rocks glass of Jammeson listen to a song written by Neil Young crazy Horse band, covered by the Dave matthews Band called Cortez The Killer. Follow it up by Rolling Stones Sympathy For The Devil, Followed up by some Legendary E Street Band.
The oldest continuously occupied settlement of European and African-American origin in the United States, but you've got a good point! Endless history, especially out there👍
A persons time is not endless. Florida did not even become a state until President Thomas Jefferson was well out of office. You must have a birth date, a starting point. Yes slavery and the 1960 riots are a big part of Saint Augustines history, however the French arrival in Quebec will give the Italians and the Spanish a run for the money. By the way you two look taller on camera. Keep up the good work. I also seen you walking up Saint George Street., just a little late on the two lane salute, see you down the road.
The canons are not replicas and they still function.
Dang!!! That's awesome 👍
