How to rejoin, transfer and prepare.
What is the Infantry Assessment Course?
It is a three week course that you complete if you have previous experience. On completion you will either move to your unit or start Phase 2 Infantry training.
Listen to the soldiers that give their take on what it's like, how to prepare and why they decided to give it a go.

I left 32 years ago, missed it for 6 months, but kept remembering how boring it was,BAOR IN 80s.Never went out or did anything.Painted my wagon so many times,it was bulletproof, watch out for boredom it creeps up on you. Then time to get out,get some qualifications at anything,it all helps.Though about this,no RPG proof.

Rejoining after two years on civvy street. Ex Engineers going to cavalry... been told that I’ll be on tac 2 and 3 course at ITC.
How are these courses run, how long are they, are they relaxed and educational or 100% max effort thrashings for x months ahead? Do you get weekends off ,can I expect time off?
Any info you or anyone can give would be appreciated

      Have your circumstances changed?
      How much time has passed?
Has anyhing else happened in that time to prevent you serving?
