Passau Germany | St Stephen’s Cathedral | Baroque Architecture

Morning city walk of historic Passau Germany. In the 2nd century the area was settled in Bavaria. The town has played important parts in Germany history.
St Stephen’s Cathedral was built in 1668 to 1693 in the Baroque style after the fire of 1662 destroyed much of the city including the previous church.
The town is subject to flooding on a regular basis. This has become just part of living here.
