When I saw the Naked palette was coming back, I had the same reaction as them. I get it that it was revolutionary for its time, but not now. There is so many makeup brands now that are releasing better formulas for less money. I'd rather spend my money elsewhere. Go buy an indie palette, like Cosmic Brushes, Bella Beaute Bar, Blend Bunny, Unearthly Cosmetics, Fantasy Cosmetica, even Glamlite. For a few dollars more, get Natasha Denona. I'm using my Sydney Grace singles to recreate the Naked palette, but do I need to? For a neutral palette, I'd rather use my Persona Identity or Tarte Tartelette in Bloom. Or how about Sigma? Even ColourPop is better. This is a hard pass for me.

That's what I do too! And when I use it as a blush, use a brush/beauty blender on it instead of directly on your face + powder and powder blush. I have oily skin and with summer weather, it gives me a chance to have a lasting blush for the day

I've skipped them so far, but been searching for a sheer lip tint in a stick that doesn't budge, something that gives the effect of the sheerest Korean liquid tints but in stick format. Various sheer matte sticks look nice but feel dry as a parrot's cage; Ilia balm without a mirror had me looking like I'd scoffed a Nutella sandwich... This might be worth a try!

The Naked palette is fine. I have my original, purchased shortly before the discontinuation. It's supposedly an icon, so I wanted to have one. But Johnny is exactly right---get yourself the Colourpop Stone Cold Fox and Bare Necessities and you will automatically have the Naked 1 & 2 plus dozens of additional shades.

The Urban Decay Naked palette is allegedly their newer updated formula. However, the pan sizes are 1/3 smaller, and the price is $15 more. It’s so clear that Urban Decay is sinking and sinking fast. I used to LOVE Urban Decay. It’s so sad to see them going down hill so fast and hard.
Could not agree more about the Powder Blush Shortage! Recently I tried to find a vibrant like orchid purple blush and could not find any instore. I went down a rabbit hole of older blush colours and pallets that are now discontinued and was so sad. The powders avaliable is boring dusty colours that if you tried to use them to reinforce you cream and liquid dulls them. If brands sell bright creams there should be bright powder blush. Sorry clearly very passionate about this 😂
Hey Johnny! No kidding! I lived In Bergen County, NJ my whole life and always had sinus issues. Since moving upstate NY last fall, no more inhalers, runny nose, red eyes etc. The quality of air here is so much better! When I lived in Jersey, Teteboro airport was across the street from me, and FedX was in my backyard. My pool was covered with soot. I miss my hometown but I love being able to breathe much easier!
Dude, sinus issues in the PA/NJ air quality is no joke! I was sick the entire month of June with back to back sinus infections! (They were my third and fourth of the year!) Glad you're feeling better. I really enjoy the content that both you and Kevin create. You're so honest and fantastic to watch!
Use proper Air Filters at least at home....your sinus will improve a LOT. And you can set a timer so it will start working the day before (or the morning) you come back. Air conditioner with proper filters should be working at least 12h prior your arrival. Is a bit expensive as instalation but SO game changing. Yessssssssss!!! I'm SO done with liquid/cream/balm/etc Blush and Bronzer. It's like 3 months that I'm back to powder...it makes all SO much eaeasier, quicker and travel friendly. I decluttered all my cream/balm/liquid blushes and bronzers (but the pump one from Makeup by Mario and only because it sets as powder) so happy my daughter as young woman is happy to receive it all. Back to amazing powders please 🙏

Hi, sucker here! 🙋🏻♀️ I unfortunately bought the disgusting Milk jelly sticks and was too lazy to return them. I have attempted to use them 4 more times since the initial purchase, using every method of application. No matter what, it looks like caca.
I think Mitchell is on fire. I am really proud of him. Being so young and having such a successful indie brand. He just got put into Boots over here in the UK which is huge!!! I am sure he will come out with more colors. What is lovely he makes soooo many colors that look great on dark skin!
Johnny, I had rhinosinositis & it screwed up my breathing for a while. The best thing I can recommend is Sterimar - they have blue, green, & orange versions & I alternate between blue & green, but I got my mother on the orange & it's hrlped massively with her snoring. The other thing is maybe an air purifier will help, obviously not when you're outside but at least it gives you a break when you're in the house. Not being able to breathe properly through your nose sucks & gives you a constant headache! I really hope this helps you out, I hate seeing people suffer especially when I know there's something that can help.
I appreciate you talking about the lightest shade always being warm. I am pale olive and the struggle to find smth that matches is insane. Every single foundation i own has to be tweaked using a blue or green pigment additive or white because its still dark. I dont even know if there is a foundation out there that could match me perfectly without having to tweak

The Elf Mad for Mattes palette is literally the exact same color story as Urban Decay Naked Palette and personally I love the formula. Very blendable and easy to work with

I have literally the worst allergies. I used to get sinus infections 3,4 times a year. Taking that much antibiotics all the time ruined my digestion tract and tanked my immune system. Highly recommended either taking unfiltered (as close to) local honey you can get/ bee pollen, some form of nettle- i take it as a tincture, its weaker as a tea- and neti pot once to twice a week. One or all of these could really help, I havent had a sinus infection in years. Hopefully this is helpful and not annoying, love the show!

I loooove that Milk jelly stick. I don’t really use foundation, I have oily textured skin, and it’s super hot down here in south Texas. So I like to apply some to my lips, put some on my bare cheeks, and smudge it out with my fingers. The stain lasts a long time and it looks cute and fresh. I have problems with trying to sanitize it between the lips and cheeks and for the next use. But it’s been my go-to all summer long.

I completely agree about the rare beauty blushes. I have never liked them from the very first application and I am a make up artist. I have maybe used it 5 times on me and never in my kit! 🤮🤢 LYS makes the best powder bronzer and pressed powder!! One of my favorite brands. Everything I have tried from them I have loved
You guys gotta check out Lawless’ lipstick in ‘platinum’ it is a little pinkier than Mitchel’s cream or Mac’s Myth, and is a good lightener/center of the lip color.
Millennials love their nostalgia (I say as one of em lol) and Urban Decay saw that. I agree with Kevin tho I definitely saw that foolishness coming (eventually). The Naked Palette back in the day invented influencers in a lot of ways it was a major turning point in beauty RUclips because before it was very MAC heavy.

I found powder blush in TKMaxx. It felt like finding the Holy Grail. I hate liquid/cream blush.
Johnny, I had rhinosinositis & it screwed up my breathing for a while. The best thing I can recommend is Sterimar - they have blue, green, & orange versions & I alternate between blue & green, but I got my mother on the orange & it's hrlped massively with her snoring. The other thing is maybe an air purifier will help, obviously not when you're outside but at least it gives you a break when you're in the house. Not being able to breathe properly through your nose sucks & gives you a constant headache! I really hope this helps you out, I hate seeing people suffer especially when I know there's something that can help.

I appreciate you talking about the lightest shade always being warm. I am pale olive and the struggle to find smth that matches is insane. Every single foundation i own has to be tweaked using a blue or green pigment additive or white because its still dark. I dont even know if there is a foundation out there that could match me perfectly without having to tweak

I have literally the worst allergies. I used to get sinus infections 3,4 times a year. Taking that much antibiotics all the time ruined my digestion tract and tanked my immune system.
Highly recommended either taking unfiltered (as close to) local honey you can get/ bee pollen, some form of nettle- i take it as a tincture, its weaker as a tea- and neti pot once to twice a week.
One or all of these could really help, I havent had a sinus infection in years.

I loooove that Milk jelly stick. I don’t really use foundation, I have oily textured skin, and it’s super hot down here in south Texas. So I like to apply some to my lips, put some on my bare cheeks, and smudge it out with my fingers. The stain lasts a long time and it looks cute and fresh. I have problems with trying to sanitize it between the lips and cheeks and for the next use. But it’s been my go-to all summer long.

It's me! They are making all those blushes for me! Not all of them are worth my time but give me a good quality blush any day 😊 my glasses are slightly tinted so I have to put my love of color somewhere else.

I completely agree about the rare beauty blushes. I have never liked them from the very first application and I am a make up artist. I have maybe used it 5 times on me and never in my kit! 🤮🤢 LYS makes the best powder bronzer and pressed powder!! One of my favorite brands. Everything I have tried from them I have loved
You guys gotta check out Lawless’ lipstick in ‘platinum’ it is a little pinkier than Mitchel’s cream or Mac’s Myth, and is a good lightener/center of the lip color.

The Naked Palette back in the day invented influencers in a lot of ways it was a major turning point in beauty RUclips because before it was very MAC heavy.
I do have to admit that I LOVVVEEEE blush, but I heavily favor powder because my face is so oily that creams and liquids fade away quickly.

Hmmm I guess I'm one of the few ppl that really enjoy and LOVE blush. I'm excited to try all these new formulas and shades since blush is one of the top products I cannot live without (below mascara and concealer). On the other hand, I don't get why ppl buy so many foundations and concealers?, but hey there is room for us all or the companies wouldn't release these products at all. BTW Johnny your skin is MAGNIFICIENT. I'd love for you to do a no-makeup makeup tutorial :)!
