I’m not a big internet commenter, but I just wanted to say I love your content and am looking forward to more. It’s awesome to see more men embracing polish. My husband is in a corporate job and has to play the part when he’s in the office twice a week, but he keeps them polished the 5 days at home. (And his toes are always polished.) He likes the way they look, I think he’s extra cute with them polished, and I get to play manicurist on someone other than myself. It’s a win all the way around. He also tends to get tons of compliments from men and women alike when we are out and about. I’m so glad the algo pushed you into my suggestions!
I used to be so afraid to have my nails painted while I was at work and I would do the same thing. But after the shutdown and being able to have my nails painted all the time I couldn’t go back. I was so scared at first but have only gotten positivity. I can’t speak to all work environments or in all countries/states, but times are slowly changing and one day he will be able to wear his nails painted whenever he wants. ❤️
These are all so amazing! I’m so happy you did a full video on this collection. If I had to pick, Devil’s advocate wins my heart for the Undergrad group, and Inkwell is top of the class for Grad school.

I know Holo Taco also releases comparisons, but, especially with Silent Library, your comparisons were top-notch in showing how different not just the shade but also the formula is to other polishes.

I can’t wait to try Head Hunter, Inkwell and Silent Library. My Cold Shoulder bottle also changed colour and I was bummed because it was my favourite so I am hyper happy to learn that I have a new alternative. Frosted metals are my favorites.
Secret Society looks very similar to an old Revlon scented polish I used to have called Italian Leather and I'm JAZZED to finally find something similar

I love polishes that make me imagine scenarios and it totally puts me at my imaginary desk, writing by candlelight. And frosted metals are my faaaaavorite! another gold shimmer lover! i knew from the promos i wanted inkwell and secret society, and i grabbed head hunter too (justice for green polishes!). i like ivory tower the more i see swatches of it, especially compared to other white polishes and i might pick it up at a later date. i don’t currently use white polish very much but i think a “softer” white might get some more use
I've got Secret Society, Foreshadow, and Headhunter on my HT wishlist, but i really do like all of the collection in one way or another. I was aware that Cold Shoulder had that pigment issue but didn't know it was that severe!! Instant subscriber =)

I would call it dark brown in indoor lighting. The base is very dark and so you do need a direct light source to see the shimmer. I really like that though because it’s a dark polish in some lighting with a surprise in the sun. It’s like holo without the rainbow.
Im really planning on buying the specialty finishes and the grey 😅 I'm pretty sure they changed the flakies for the frosted metal one! I do think that it is a good move since the others changed the color of the base so badly... 😢
