Thank you very much, I just got an fy03h and it's front transmission lost a pin right away so it's got no front wheel power. Now I'm waiting on metal replacements for the drivetrain, wishing there was a temporary fix until I get my parts
does any other shaft fit in this? the metal shafts in the video, i used those, but the "stainless steel" isnt so stainless, since it started rusting the first time i took it to the water, and also the joint COMPLETELY SHATTERED.
@@HowToDIYRc i found some myself, all of them are CV joints (the front ones are open CV joints, not too much of a difference), but all of them, rear, front, middle are different manufacturers, that should not be a problem though. the metal CV joints i had there a few years ago, i thought CV joints were absolute garbage, since mine broke after around an hour of driving, turns out they just had a very thin aluminium sleeve holding the pin in, which the pin just hattered through. these ones i found tho have around 2-3mm thick steel walls, so i doubt that will be a problem :) you want the links?

At the hardware store, they have hardware, get a couple of 2mm roll pins, or whatever size and push a roll pin in.
Where did you buy the front axle drive?

My upgraded metal front driveshaft pin keeps slipping out and the little ball joint gets lost. Any suggestion?????
tiny bit of locktide on both ends of the driveshaft pin helps to keep it in place

can be made this vid a longtime ago but there are more shops that sell these upgrade parts for this car

diff gear oke just the drive train gives me problems
Hello! Is it possible to put fy03 gearbox into 12428? They are different, fy03 has clutch.
No not the gearbox but the rear diff those fit and got steel gears instead of 12428 plastic gears
