I’m 71 and three years ago I moved to a one bedroom apartment of 496 sq feet in a nice area of my hometown, Stockholm. I just love my well organized space where I have all I need, less cleaning and more money left to go to the opera, concerts and other activities. Don’t hesitate to move to a smaller place when You get older, You won’t regnet it!
Good use of space! The wallpaper at the entry way adds a pop of fun, and the couch choice is exceptional... its a gorgeous piece. I'm blown away by the ample closet space, too! Thanks for the tour
Smart young lady to have bought your own place vs losing all your money to the expensive T.O. rental market. You've made it work well for you. I agree with the other comment that a Murphy bed would be a great addition, and expand your space - especially for having friends over. Very nice walk-through. And kudos to dad for the wonderful improvements!
I think it's perfect. You have everything organized really well. That's the key to having a pretty place. For your age, it's plenty. And your dad is a wonderful dad.
This is one of the best studio apartments I have ever seen and, thank you Dad for doing that closet for her because, that makes all the difference in the world .. your place is elegant it's bright it's decorated so pretty ..I wouldn't leave that place until you have too because, I got to tell you it's one of the best I've ever seen.. you should be so proud of how beautiful it looks and how inviting it is.. job well done!! 👍
She has a great attitude. This is what she can get for now. It will allow her to get what she needs next. She also has a great dad that helped make it how she wanted it.

What a gorgeous studio apartment! Your dad has increased the.value of your placre by installing your built ins! You can also put a standing shelving unit next to your bed to divide your bed from your desk area! Dads are amazing!! Very nice! 💯
I think she bought her unit if I am understanding correctly. She said a studio is what she could afford on her budget, plus she is paying maintenance fees.

The ONE thing that I think would have been perfect- convert the bed to a “Murphy Bed”! It could be hidden when not in use AND when it is up against the wall, it makes more room for you and guest!
I would put a sideboard along the bed. This would separate sleeping from working zone, give her extra storage for her working space, act as a night stand and wouldn't be overwhelming. Otherwise, the apartment is perfect.

a murphy bed would be perfect for this place. It swing up against the wall when not in use. There are nicely built ones with shelves and nice woodwork.

Nice sunny space. Well organized and neat. Smart move to get a washer. I might have got a washer/dryer combo to save having a drying rack. I'm always wondering Landlords and sellers add such big appliances in small/studio apartments. Obviously one person doesn't need a full size refrigerator or stove.

The impression about the apartment I got from her doesn't make sense to me. That looks like a very luxurious and big space for one person, at least to me. I guess it's all relative to where you've come from.
