The correct usage is "see"
I did not see this coming. (Present tense)
I saw it coming from a mile away. (Past tense)
See is present tense, Saw is past tense. I have long wondered how different languages handle past, present, and future tense. I wish I could speak different languages. It's fascinating to me.
