Raised in a humble yet devout Christian family, Limaya grew up adhering to Christian values. However, during her teenage years, she strayed from her faith and began questioning the very existence of God.
Limaya bravely opens up about her struggles with pornography addiction, a subject often considered taboo despite its widespread impact on young people. She shares her journey of overcoming this challenge, shedding light on an issue many face but few discuss. @@Yaehaw027 I have dealt with this problem years ago. I just want to advice you to remove everything that triggers your mind into lust. Especially social media today drives on the attention of men who mindlessly scrolls, views and likes pictures and follows sexual contents. Delete social media accounts and stay offline for atleast 3 months. Delete all the pictures from your gallery that triggers you. Stay engaged in some activities that demands your mental and physical energy, whether sports, literature or anything. Because the side affects of porn and masturbation is most visible in these areas which demands great physical energy and mental clarity. Put up a calender and mark the number of days you go by without consuming porn, that way you can appreciate your daily win against lust.. and never ever return to the Pit again.
Lastly, find a good God fearing Girlfriend who will draw you nearer to God. If you both love each other, you two will occasionally have Intercourse Because it's human nature and we cannot resist the sexual urge for too long, which is why most single men eventually resort to Porn and masturbation. But there's less negative side affects of actual sex as compared to porn. Lastly, marriage will not cure porn addiction. That's a big lie from hell. You have to conquer this battle before marriage.. or else taking this addiction into marriage will destroy your family.

I'd like to add some points here just to clarify because I feel like I did not express my thoughts properly in certain parts. Firstly, I'd like to clear out that mild and hardcore sexual content are equally bad. I mentioned mild ones being "okay" but that was only what I thought back then. Secondly, I mentioned that I lost my confidence because of my financial status, but I regained it now. It is not because of the change in finance now that the confidence has come back. My confidence now comes from my belief in the presence of our loving and all-powerful God with me at all times. I hope this clears out anything that I didn't put into words properly! ❤
Also, my sincere apologies if I came off as insensitive or arrogant by saying that my family struggled financially during my childhood. Actually although they are government employees, the payment was very low and inconsistent back then. Moreover, we just moved from our hometown to Dimapur and were trying to settle in. My school was expensive too. I had a lot of illnesses back then and a lot of money went in my medical expenditure as well. I wouldn't say my life was the worst. But we did have our struggles. I was confusing when I was struggling to overcome lust and masturbation....i realised there was an open door for my case when I was 5/6 years someone molested me and in my middle school my teacher (who was mentally not stable) was molested me inside class room infront of my classmates, that time we never knew this were open doors for spiritual world, so every problem has beginning with an open doors....

Tbh, at this age almost every young people faces the sin of lust. It's a great struggle in the flesh. But one thing I tell people struggling with lust is that, surrender everything to Jesus. We can never do it on our own, whether it's a lust or any other sin, it'll always come back if we're a lukewarm Christian. Our flesh only desires for pleasure, and entertainment as it is sinful in nature. Jesus is the way the truth and the life. Let's crucify our flesh, our fantasy on the cross and seek relationship with Christ.

Overcoming Porn addiction is an entire different battle which requires effective strategy in every aspects mentally, spiritually, physically and emotionally. Churches should collaborate with psychologists , neurologists, and gym trainers to develop a holistic strategy to fight this battle.
Now the time is to deal with every minute detail Christian youths are facing. Message of Salvation has been over preached. The day we believe and accept Christ as our lord and saviour, we are saved. Just simply asking people to repent doesnt work anymore. The process of Repentance needs thorough guidance.

I didn't take any therapy when I was a porn addiction but through healthy habit. Lawra jio karne ase etu sob 😂. That time when jio was newly launched, and data was unlimited after 12 pm till 3 or 4 am everyday . Anyways, I blame social media. And this is my reason. As an addict, if I get trigger I instantly browse on the web. Sometimes, I get too motivated and I could control for 2 days max. But everything becomes f'ed up the moment I log into fb, whatsapp, ig. So if you are planning to quit. You have to quit social media first. Avoid anything that triggers your lust that includes even your gf if her act or voice triggers you (not saying to break up). Trust me, if you could go a month without porn, you are already winning. I know it's difficult on the 1st stage but just quit social media, and avoid triggers, keep yourself busy. And yes, exercise.

We are very much alike ! Four siblings, my youngest currently in 12 . From middle class. Same tribe . I was suffering from the similar addiction too . I too , was saved by God's grace ❤ 😊. Difference is , m the oldest ! I had inferiority complex. Big depression and suicidal, the idea of death was beautiful to me . Lots have changed tho. M more grateful to God .

indeed it takes a lot to come forward with an issue such as this , i was also a teenager once upon a time and its a primal hormonal instinct to incline our sexual physical needs during this puberty stage i am proud of you lima ,,may you grow in faith and the spirt as you grow older to inspire the up coming generation which is entrapped by the internet and social media where obscenity has become a prime contend ,
