- Not the fastest pass this car has made but damn does it sound good. One of the best looking CTS-V's I've seen.
Wait until it gets a little cooler outside and this car should run some impressive times.

I think it sounds bad but good, the cts is supposed to be all stealth and ninja shit and a loud exhaust like that just sounds wrong, but put that shit in a mustang or a challenger and no we talkin

Agreed. Part of what makes the CTS-V appealing is its stealthiness. Throwing a big cam and loud exhaust takes away from that in my opinion. It would be much better with a twin turbo setup, custom cam to which is very tame sounding and quiet exhaust.
I am in agreement. Slightly louder than stock exhaust but no cam is much more suiting to the car.

While I'm not ordinarily a huge fan of the CTS-V, this is quite awesome. To get a car that is this heavy to the mid-low 10's is pretty impressive. Sounds/looks gorgeous.
Wow the pickup after the 60' is insane, I bet with a smoother squat it'd be even quicker

Design a car that looks different and it's considered ugly. Design one that looks like everything else and people bitch because it's too generic. You can't please everyone. Personally I like the way they look. I can see a Cadillac from almost any angle and even if it's mostly obstructed I can tell what it is because it doesn't look like everything else.

Cool af but u have the gas mileage of about 8-12 mpg def not a road car u want to commute everywhere. ( I have one ) unless u don’t mind the gas money (60$ every 2-3 days) and the depreciation per mile. BUT HEY ITS ALL ABOUT THE SMILES PER GALLON am I right?

the car has shitty proportions for a coupé look at a cls , 6 series ,mustang,challenger,comaro these coupes are good looking not this shit as if it has a pyramid instead of a wing and the rear bumper it sucked upwards i would prefer the cts on this and the new ats
Its probly just me but i think the sedan version of the CTSV is 1000 times better. The back is way fatter on the coupe. I love coupes dont get me wrong but i dont know the back in the sedan version aint that fat ass looking
Your high 2011+ gt won't run 10s with bolt ons they run high 10s with bolt ons + 150 shot and slicks plus sup and this car has mid 9s in it its been done over and over i don't know why they posted a slow time

People saying this car is slow are fucking stupid. This Cadillac could easily be a 9 second car just from seeing how hard it launched at the tree. Running a 10.42 1/4 mile is still really fast...
I can appreciate the sheer power and speed, but my god, that is one ugly fucking car. Looks like some sort of Scion mixed with some hybrid prius nutts. Poor poor design on Cadillacs behalf.

Nice to see so many people commenting on youtube videos drive 10 second cars. I've never seen a 10 second car be called SLOOOOOOW until now. True this car didn't seem to get out of the hole very quickly, but the thing pulled down the track like no ones business. I'm not a fan of the coupe myself, I can't afford it either. So who am I to spit venom. ALL THE BS ASIDE, GREAT VIDEO.

What are the mods on this V? Obviously a pretty good sized cam, but then ported heads and blower I assume and what pullies? How much nitrous? I am hoping the nitrous wasn't used with that trap (figured it would be more 140 range). This car has ran 9s right?

I'd like to know how many of you have actually road in a ten second street car. Plus that's at least a 4000 pound car. Pretty good time if you ask me. Specially for lighting almost all of first gear!!
